Thanksversary Contest 2001 ...
In honor of GilmoreGirls.org's one year anniversary and the Thanksgiving holiday, GilmoreGirls.org has decided to have some fun. Just like last year's Holiday Contest 2000, the new "Thanksversary" Contest 2001 is a "hide and seek" game of sorts. Those who wish to participate have to find the hidden "coffee cup icon" in order to win. The icon is hidden somewhere on the GilmoreGirls.org site and once you find it, click the graphic to e-mail your full name to be entered.
- The grand prize is an official Gilmore Girls poster for season two, measuring 24" x 36" (standard size). The poster stars Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) and Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore).
- First runner up will receive a 3x5 index card signed by Lauren Graham.
- Second runner up will receive a 3x5 index card signed by Alexis Bledel.
The Thanksversary Contest 2001 officially starts on November 1, 2001 at 12:00am EST and ends on November 25, 2001 at 12:00am EST. All e-mails must be postmarked between these times to be official.
The contest is open to participants all over the world, but GilmoreGirls.org only agrees to pay shipping for winners who live in the United States and Canada. Winners will be contacted by e-mail and must reply within seven days to claim a prize. By entering the contest, you agree to have your name published on GilmoreGirls.org in the event you become a winner. The Thanksversary Contest winners must also be willing to give GilmoreGirls.org their real postal address in order to have their prize shipped.
All participants who find the icon and e-mail the correct address will be entered into the contest. The prize winners will be selected from a random drawing held on or around November 26, 2001 from all eligible entries received. GilmoreGirls.org is not responsible for lost entries. Only one entry per person will be accepted during the contest.
GilmoreGirls.org may prohibit you from participating in the contest, if in the sole discretion of GilmoreGirls.org, you repeatedly show a disregard for these rules, or act (1) in an unsportsmanlike manner; (2) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other participant; or (3) in any other disruptive manner.
Remember, GilmoreGirls.org is an unofficial fan site and all prizes have been acquired on our own. GilmoreGirls.org is not affiliated with Warner Bros. or anyone on the Gilmore Girls cast or crew.
GilmoreGirls.org staff members are not eligible to participate in this contest.

Congratulations to Anne Osborne, Sarah Crump, and Katy Rowland for being the winners of the GilmoreGirls.org Thanksversary Contest 2001. Each winner found the hidden coffee cup icon that was located on the Gaga Over Gilmore article in the Recent News.
Anne Osborne took home the grand prize of an official Gilmore Girls poster for season two, Sarah Crump was the first runner up winning a 3x5 index card autographed by Lauren Graham, and finally, Katy Rowland was the second runner up winning a 3x5 index card signed by Alexis Bledel. Each winner was also given a photo from the Warner Bros. All-Star Party 2001 which features the two Gilmore girls.
