Summary: Back in Stars Hollow for the weekend, Rory (Alexis Bledel) runs into Dean (Jared Padalecki), who awkwardly invites her to his wedding the next day. During his bachelor party that night, Dean stumbles into Luke's (Scott Patterson) diner and drunkenly confesses how much he misses Rory. Meanwhile, while trying to get construction started on the new Dragonfly Inn, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Sookie (Melissa McCarthy) are driven crazy by Taylor (Michael Winters), who controls the permit procedures for every building in town.

I hate Taylor not that I ever liked him in the first place he is so evil he is standing in between Lorelai and her dream of opening the Dragonfly. If I were Rory it would have been so weird for me to be sitting in my town and all of the sudden be suprised by the fact that the first person I ever loved, my first boyfriend was getting married and I had no idea and I was in the middle of it *sigh* I wouldn't be able to take it. I would have went though I mean even though I think that he just invited her becuase he was there and she was there and he needed something to say I think that he wanted her there, and I would have went because I would want to show him that I still cared about him and I just want him to be happy and if being married to someone who's not me would make him happy well then that's ok. I loved Dean's little drunkn' rant to Luke I mean I knew it all along that Dean wasn't over Rory but it was nice to hear him say it although I never would have thought that Luke would take care of Dean he hated Dean because of what he so called did to rory in the first season but it was nice to see this side of Luke. Totally agree Taylor can be a major pain.  But I would also like to say that Rory's hair was so pretty in this episode.

My guess would be no, he wouldn't have called it off.  He was drunk when he told Luke he was still in love with Rory.  My guess is, he wouldn't have admitted it sober.  If Rory was there, he probably would have felt the need to prove to her (and to himself) that he was over her, and that he had made the right decision (to marry Lindsay).

Although, I could see the possibility of Lindsay calling it off if she saw that Dean was distracted by Rory.

yeah...i agree, i dont think that dean would have called it off but would have been distracted by rory or even worse he would say rory's name in the vows instead of lindsey's just like that episode of friends where ross says rachel's name while he's getting married to another women.

This eposide was ok......but not the best! I think it was really good of Luke to take Dean in like that, I was really shocked by Dean saying he was not over Rory! Call me dumb, but I could not tell he still had feelings for her! Now that I rewatch some of the eposides on DVD I see it now!! But if you ask me I still think Rory should have gone! Just to show she cared, you know?

I loved this episode. I wish Luke would have told Lorelai that Dean still likes Rory though. I think Rory should have still gone to the wedding, I would've liked to see what Dean would act like.Good episode though!!!

sOo one thing bothered me in this episode. back in Season 3..i'm pretty sure it was the finalle..does anyone remember how Rory gave Dean that catalogue and told him to pick out a wedding gift?? well..if she did that..then why did they have to go out and buy a Salad Spinner?? just a thought..

I thought this was a pretty good episode. I thought Kyle was funny. "Come on guys..respect the establishment." I also loved when Luke told them to  come up with a dirty version of the fight song. HA.

I think we all knew Dean still had a thing for Rory..no big shock. It was sad to watch Rory watch Dean getting married :[ I kinda think they shouldve gone..but I get why Luke didnt want them to.

Dean looked al grown up here, with his beard and all.
I also liked this epi because it felt good to know that Luke has such great influence on the Lorelai and Rory i.e their not going to the wedding.

i almost wish she wouldve gone, cause then MAYBE dean wouldn't have gone through with it if he saw rory(pretty unlikely but...)and stopped the wedding. THEN i wouldn't have to not like him for cheating on his wife! because besides that i liked him, oh well, too bad...
