Ok, I think this is becoming my favorite season so far...

I loved this episode.  Lane, trying to drown herself after bad audition.  Sookie, panicing about baby not coming out.  Lorelei being rejected as the Renoir girl (I often think of the filmmaker rather than the painter), the first appearance of Gil (Sebatian Bach rocks!), Gil officially in the band, Kirk acknowledging the town that he has a girlfriend, Kirk in the role of Jesus, Kirk as Jesus, Kirk getting into fight with Judas, the painting festival, and the Lorelei's beeper going off during her moment as the Renoir girl.

Fantastic episode.  Funny through and through.  Is it me or did Nicole had a different hair color in the previous season?  I don't like her.  She ain't right for Luke.

I almost forgot, the first song Lane's band plays is a classic.  "Head On" by the Jesus & Mary Chain from their 1989 album Automatic that was later, famously covered by the Pixies in their 1991 album Trompe Le Monde.  Gil rocks.  I like seeing his family.

Well, not one of my favorite episodes but I do love the scene when Sookie is freaking out to Lorelai about the baby not coming and Kirk definately made the entire episode. I think season 4 has the best Kirk moments. Maybe a show of appreciation by the creators of the show for their Ace card.

Episodes like this make me wish that I lived in Stars Hollow. It's quirky and bizarre and very, very cool.

Yes, unless you're holding the stomach.

JUDAS!!!  WHAT, I DON'T BELIEVE YOU MAN?

That was on yesterday.  I love that episode.  The troubadour as Judas and Kirk taking the role very seriously as any method actor would.  Kirk and Gil made that episode.

really liked  those living paintings, very cool.

Kirk had me in stitches feuding with Judas, Gil seems like a nice guy.

I'm glad Lane decided to have him join the band.

What was that whole thing with the coupons? And why did Luke look like he wanted to say 'Yes" when Nicole asked if their on-again, off-again divorce felt stupid?
