I am new to the message board, but ever since Gilmore Girls began airing I have not missed a single episode.  I absolutely adore the Gilmore Girls.  I own all of the box sets and I watch them repeatedly.  I am a HUGE GG fan...but this season I have been disappointed.  The writing isn't as good this year.  I find that the stories are centrered far too much on Rory and Lorelai....which isn't a bad thing, but the thing that made them great was their interaction with the rest of the cast.  We don't see Sookie as much....she's awesome.  Where is Babette and Michel and Taylor and Jackson and Miss Patty and Kirk.....Mrs. Kim, Lane, Paris....I like Rory and Logan just as much as the next guy, but I can only take so much.  I miss Amy writing the show, she needs to come back.  Perhaps I am committing blaspemy....but if the writing continues the way it has, DO NOT EXTEND IT PAST SEASON SEVEN!  Don't destroy GG like they destroyed seventh heaven!!!!

Don't get me wrong folks.....I still won't miss a single episode and what's coming in the New Year looks really juicy......but the "wit quotient" needs to come up a notch....and I miss the intellectual banter that had us asking, "what are they referring to???"

Can't help you with the abbreviations, but a literati is a fan of the Rory/Jess couple.

I was confused about these for a while too -- in fact, if you scanned the Q&A thread, you'd notice it comes up a lot! But anyway, you're a Tourist because your rank depends on how many posts you have. You'll become a Town Trubador at 50, & so on from that. All the rankings are on the site somewhere, but I can't tell you exactly where, You'll have to hunt (sorry!). As for community points: those are given to you from other members of the site if they "pretty stick" you because they liked something you posted, your signature, etc. They get taken away if you're "snarked," also by other ORG members. You can only pretty stick or snark once you have 100 posts.

Mmmm, I think is a Toyota Prius, the one that Richard and Emily gave her when she graduated Chilton... I love her car, is small just as I like them LOL

You are correct, it is a Prius, one of the earlier models of the hybrid cars.

As for FAITH, I think it referes to those who believe that the Luke/Lorelai relationship can continue, so they want to have faith!  I'm not sure exactly though.

As for M.A.M.M., it's in my sig and 3 others too.  It's kind of an inside joke, betweeen us.  The 4 of us would always chat together, so we named it.  Each letter stands for the first letters in our names..... I'm Melissa, then there's Angela, Marian and Melanie.  It's not meant to be exclusionary, it's just something special between us.
