I know it was sometime over Easter, and i feel terrible for forgetting.
We hope you had a fantastic birthday. ;D

Actually, you're spot on.  It's today.  ;)  I still have 2.5 hours left to enjoy.

Thank you!

I rarely post in here cause I never feel like I have anything worth saying.  But I always lurk and you are right Mel, it has most definately quietened down a little.

I just got home from a shopping spree at JB HiFi.  For those that aren't in Australia, it's a place to buy dvds, cds and video games.  Every now and then (more regularly than I'd like to admit) we head off to update with the latest stuff we'd like to get, or to purchase stuff that is on sale that we'd like.  And todays little trip just cost us in excess of $350. :o  A little more than usual but we got in a nice little haul and the kids went a little crazy also.

Shell:  I picked up the first season of the US version of the Office for a bargain.  I guess this is the next series I will be building on and I have you to thank for that hun!! :).

JB Hifi = my heaven!

I spend excess of $350 almost every time I go there. And that's mainly all from cds. Hahaha.

Sig made by me, 'cause I'm awesome and unique!

Heh well I usually make it to a few hundred each visit, but this was a little over the top for me this time.  Too many other things like the mortgage and bills etc., to go too crazy LOL

Did anybody else here participate in Earth Hour?

I didn't. I'm kind of oblivious to those things :P but I loved what google did. If anyone didn't google anything yesterday, they "turned the lights out". It was completely black and the text was white. It was pretty cool.

Caryn, you made the right decision buying The Office. That show is so hilarious, I'm sure you'll enjoy it  :) It's one of my favorites! I participated in Earth Hour...usually when I watch TV I have a light on but I kept the lights out.

Wooo hooo it's opening day for baseball!!! I've been waiting all winter for this! Anyone as excited as I am?! Go Phillies!!!  :highfive:

Yay!  :celebrate:  I am glad for your find hun.  In no time at all you'll be helping Jim and Pam to think of jokes to play on Dwight.   :D

Laura - yes!  I am so excited for baseball season.  Mainly because I'm hoping Mother Nature will realize that baseball is supposed to =  springtime and will bring on some warm weather soon.

Hee - yes I knew about Earth Hour but was busy chatting it up with someone *coughs*Caryn*coughs* and it seemed to slip by me.  :D :-[  However, I do keep lights off as much as possible as a general rule.  I swear!  ;)

Amber - Is John Tucker Must Die good?  I've been interested in seeing it.

If not for the search page at google, with the 'black-out" look, i would not have noticed Earth Day, so i stand accused like others. I give myself a little credit because i have always been conscious about not wasting electricity and routinely will shut out lights in the house.

I second your Wooo hooo for baseball season! Baseball and April (the month, not the GG character) are always two hopeful signs in life. Go Yankees, Mets and Padres!  ;)  :)

I also saw the Google page with the "lights out" and thought it was fantastic!!!   They're very creative over there - any holiday and the little Google letters are decorated up properly.

Jim- You root for the Mets and Yankees?   :o  Is that allowed??   :o  LOL  I'm pretty sure there's some New York ordinance forbidding that.   ;)

I am a life-long St. Louis Cardinals fan.  Yay.

Caryn -  Are the Collingwood Magpies in season at the moment?

Ha, i was born into a Mets family and lived 15 minutes from their stadium but i became a Yankees fan and they are my first team. I have no problem with the Mets, except when they play the Yankees. I don't live in NY anymore, so they can't throw me in jail! :) I have always liked the Cardinals. They have a great history and tradition and i always hear that St. Louis is a great baseball town. Albert Pujols is a cool dude.
