The thing  I think is so cool about Lauren Graham is that she is really like Lorelai. Every interview I've seen she totally has the same personality, I love that. I hate when you love a character and the actor is a complete ass.

Lauren again gets a mention in the Ask Ausiello column this week.  I'm sure it only happens because MA knows that her name automatically boosts reader interest, but I thought I'd bring it over anyway as a conversation starter.

Can you see Lauren in an Office spin-off?

Question: How awesome would it be if Lauren Graham landed a leading role on the Office spin-off? Wouldn't she be great as the female version of Michael? What do you think the chances of that happening are, taking into consideration her mega-deal with NBC? — Mo
Ausiello: You mean the mega-deal that may or may not have been force-majeured by the strike? Well, regardless of whether she's currently on the Peacock's payroll, I love your idea, and I think Ben Silverman and Greg Daniels would be insane not to at least consider Graham for the gig. Are you with me? If so, consider this week's Ask Ausiello Discussion Thread a makeshift petition to get LG an Office job.

Even though I didn't watch the show, I heard it was funny, and Lauren is good at comedy [[along with everything else I've seen her in so far]] =D

Lauren is absolutley AMAZING,shes really very talented and her acting is so excellent!
When  i first saw her as lorelai I was hooked. her acting skills beats out all the other actors in the show.
She is my favorite actress ever, she is so good at creating a character and making it so easy to relate to it.
Lauren is so witty. thats what i love about her.
I think what I love the most on Lauren is her smile.
She have an amazing smile.
When she is happy, to her it looks like nothing could ever go wrong.

Life is funny, the thing to remember is to laugh

You know I've heard GG fans on other websites slam Lauren for being an airhead during live interviews and not being straightforward with answers to questions but I don't think so. I know that when I see a live interview with her that it will be entertaining, interesting and hysterically funny. I don't think it's because she's trying too hard to be like Lorelai it's because she's naturally like that. She seems like a genuinely nice, considerate and happy person. She couldn't have pulled off Lorelai so well if she wasn't a little like that herself. A HUGE difference between Lauren playing Lorelai and Parker Posey playing the lead role in Jezzy! GG wouldn't have been the same without Lauren Graham!

Lauren is something else. In every interview she is either laughing or making someone laugh. Just like Lorelai she is funny, pretty, and is the kindest actress.

gilmoregirls1fan, I agree with you.  I liked her when I first saw her on Caroline in the City and saw her in some of the other TV shows that she was on.  Even though she usually played flighty parts, I still liked her.  I really liked her in Gilmore Girls.  It was a great part for her and she gave Lorelai a lot of character.  I really hope to see her in more parts like that.  Not exactly like Lorelai, but a strong character with as much depth.  I really hope to see her in another TV show and in movies where she has a bigger part in them.

I also noticed how much she sounds like Lorelai. I like what "katlyn13579" said that Lauren "is either laughing or making someone laugh", very true. Her interviews are very natural, as if you are chatting with a friend. She doesn't try so hard and she doesn't hold back. She is special. Although we have to admit that there is at least one difference is that Lauren (as i heard) has a great relationship with her father not like Lorelai who barely has one with hers.

I love Lauren, but there is only one of her interviews that bugged me for a while, it was one of the extras on one of the seasons I think, and it was talking about the monkey lamp from season one I think. And she was talking about how she didnt remember that or "oy with the poodles already" and I thought that was really depressing. I mean you really cant blame her because she does so much and it does prove that she has a life outside of the show, but still it was like something as wonderful as "oy with the poodles already" should be just a little memorable. That's just my thoughts.
