The list did have a lot of shows that I don't like on it and there were a lot missing that I did like. I didn' read the beginning to see how they came up with the list, if it were just a couple of people making the decision or if they took a poll, but the show that I like the most was on it. A show that was on a small network that when it comes down to numbers didn't have that big of a following over all of the stations and it came in in the top third. That is pretty good in my book.

Not sure where this should actually go , but I saw this and thought that it was pretty funny. It does mention Lorelai so I guess that this is as good a place as any.
This was in the June 27 and July 4, 2008 double issue of Entertainment Weekly:
Funny Piece: The Perfect TV Family
DAD ~ Cliff Huxtable (The Cosby Show) MOM ~ Lorelai Gilmore (Gilmore Girls) SON ~ Sam Weir (Freaks and Geeks) DAUGHTER ~ Brenda Walsh (Beverly Hills 90210) GRANDPA ~ Abe Simpson (The Simpsons) GRANDMA ~ Dorothy Zbornak (The Golden Girls) UNCLE ~ Buster Bluth (Arrested Developement) AUNT ~ Jackie Harris (Roseanne) DOG ~ Brian Griffin (Family Guy)
It is a bit disturbing but really funny
They also show Gilmore Girls as the #32 of 100 Best TV Shows of the Last 25 Years. Not bad.
*lol* this is funny i m trying to visualize the couples Cliff and Lorelai...nice...but they WOULD be a great parenting team!!! both totally funny, but strict when they need to be!!!! hihi, and grandpa and grandma *lol* great idead. I love the simpsons and the golden girls are hilarious just watched it yesterday! but brenda from beverly hills? no sure...hehe...but then again, buster from arrested development is sooooooo funny. and may i just add: WOOOOOHOOOOO FOR GERMANY who reached the FIIIIIINAL in the EURO soccer championship 2008!!!!!!

I was flipping through the channels the other day and saw that Evan Almighty was on. I just had to keep it on just because Lauren is in it (plus I love Steve Carell). I miss seeing her on the screen.

Aside from the show, from the movies I've seen. She is an excellent actress. It was strange hearing her say very dirty language in the film Nightwatch with Ewan McGregor, Nick Nolte, Josh Brolin, and Patricia Arquette.
I think she was really good in Bad Santa, where she kinda played the anti-Lorelai. I hated Because I Said So. She was wasted in that film and wasn't given much to do. I liked Evan Almighty. I thought it should've done better, box-office wise. It was flawed but she was really good. Especially to act with Steve Carell and Morgan Freeman.

Well, chalk up another straight to DVD movie for Lauren Graham . Just saw at Amazon that 'Birds of America' will come out on DVD on October 21, 2008. I wish that she would have more movies that actually come out to the theaters. I don't know if she just isn't getting the offers or if she is turning them down for some reason. Atleast we get 'Flash of Genius' released into the theaters around the same time. I have seen October 17th and 24th as release dates. I hope that 'The Dream of the Romans' makes it to the theaters. I am really bummed

Over at Gilmore Girls News - #1 Community for Gilmore Girls, there is a Lauren Graham Update from Michael Ausiello. At the end of the article you can click on to some new candids of Lauren pushing a stroller while walking with a man holding a toddler boy. She looks amazing.

Do you think Lorelai is internally or externally controlled? ? and y? give examples please! i need help writing for on of my classes and i want a majority's vote! thank! email me Ur answer please at [email protected]ahoo.com Do you mean are her choices products of her circumstances or does she create her circumstances through her choices? Umm to be difficult, I'll have to say both. In terms of her relationships she's always been very much in control and has sabotaged them by not wishing to compromise - Max (no thought to how he'd fit in), Jason (refusing to tell her mother), Luke (refusing to move house) and then Christopher (refusing to have a post wedding party, move house or seriously entertain the idea of a family). So her relationships are internally controlled. Even with her parents she very much chose when they would and wouldn't be in her life. As to her life, because of Rory she's also externally controlled. Her decisions about where to live and having to go to her parents to get money for Chilton showed that for Rory she was willing to in a sense allow herself to be externally controlled, provided it would benefit her daughter. I think overall though she's too feisty and independent to not be largely internally controlled. Remember she left her parents' house with a 2 year old to make her own way in the world. If that's not an egregious screw you to her circumstances, I'm not sure what is.

I've just been enjoying this picture so much! I don't recall how recent it is...but it's one of my favorites. I hope she's happy! That would make me so happy! She so deserves to be happy, and nothing less!! Every day she reminds me that life is worth living and not to take myself too seriously! She's amazing! AMAZING! I'm off to go read what Michael Ausiello had to say about our loved one!

Mel ~ that is a really nice pic of the two of them. It was from Sundance this past winter promoting 'Birds of America". I have one of them as my wallpaper. They are so perfect together. Atleast, what I can tell, since I don't know either of them. I agree, I think that she is really amazing as well. I would really like to see her in more things. Bigger and better things. Movies, TV, Photos, whatever form, I'll take it.

I'd love to see her more often - and yes, in bigger and better things too! Thanks, that's right, the Sundance Festival. I knew it had to have been pretty recent since they're together. I wish them the very best!! I do miss seeing her though...I only wish I could say that I knew her! Wouldn't that just rock?!

I agree, it would really be cool to be able to say that I knew her, too. Heck, I would be happy to just meet her once.
By the way, if I haven't already said so, again, I like your new sig.. Great pictures of the girls.
