Paris Geller/ Liza Weil Appreciation

Oh Paris.  I didn't like her in the first seasons she appeared, in the earlier Rory vs Paris days.  She was kinda rude. 

But she's hilarious now, some of her lines make me laugh out loud (especially with doyle).  One of my favourite lines ever on gg was from her.  It's below

Yeah I remember Paris mentioning that she wanted to do that in like season 1 but I dunno if that ever actually happened once she started Yale. I don't think it did because I think they would of mentioned it or her character would be a hell of a lot more busy than she seems to be. Pre-med is hard and takes up a lot of your time.

It's the episode where Doyle is sick, and Paris brings in Nanny to take care of him.  (Actually, I always wondered about that, because in an earlier episode, Paris says "she lost Nanny", and Rory thinks she died, but she really went to a new family in Michigan or something).  Anyway, everyone keeps saying to Paris "you're pre-med"

I loved that episode with Paris and Doyle.  It was sweet that when he was sick, she couldn't take care of him but she got Nanny. 
That was typical Paris, she cracks me up   I wonder how she got Nanny back if she went to be with another family...another Gilmore Girl anomaly...stories started, but not followed through...I wonder if the Gilmore Girls is a paradox like the "Bermuda Triangle" - LOL.

Along with a few other characters Paris always annoyed me. I'm sure she's not like that in real life, but why does she have to talk so fast? I swear that girl took some talking classes or something. I think she talks faster than anyone else on the show! She is pretty though.

I think the fact that she talks fast is a reflection of her intensity.  My mom is that way.  She talks fast when she gets nervous or excited or upset about something.  I think it's okay when Paris does it, but when it's my mom...

Also kaylarox, this is the Liza/Paris appreciation thread.  I think we're being encouraged to say positive things.

I personally enjoy it when she starts speaking real fast - it is so much fun.  I am glad she hooked up with Doyle, they make a cute couple, but of course she is the dominant one - that is just the way I like it

I think so too, but I think its their opinion and thats how kaylarox appreciates Paris. I for one thoughs he was annoying a first, but as the show continued on, I began to get used to her. Pretty funny lines, like as said, with Doyle, and shes a pretty good friend to Rory.

True people don't normally talk like she does but she fun to watch. I find her entertaining and her rants are classic!!

His name is Clarence. Really, what did happen to him?

I thought his name was Tarence. Anyway, he's still around like on the episode where Paris met Doyle(sp) at the dating thing and they slept together, Paris lost it and called him and they were sitting there talking to him on the speaker phone and Doyal says to Paris "I not sure why we couldn't just figure this out ourselfs" I love that part. It shows a diffrent side to Paris that was never really seen, except with Jamie.

The character of Paris is an integral part of the show for me. I'm so glad to see that others feel the same way.
