Favorite song that has played on Gilmore Girls.
« on: April 16, 2008, 02:08:18 pm »
I know that there are a lot of songs that have played on the show, but i was curious to see what songs were the fans favorite. It is ok if you have know idea what the song is called or who the artist is. If you know, do tell. List as many as you want, and try to tell what episode they are from ( if you reamber).

I can't remember much of the songs that were on the show but i have always loved when they played Doris Day's "Que Sera Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be)" . I think the episode was "Secrets & Loans".

Billy: Are we over the rainbow, Ally? Is this it? We used to sing as kids "over the rainbow".
We've gone from being people with bright futures to people who should be living their futures now.

I like the song that plays in the last episode when lorelai kisses luke. I also like the theme song and the song that plays in season 1 the pilot in the begining.

R.I.P. Alex Chilton

They probably named the school after him on the show and his song with Big Star "Thirteen" was in the episode "Rory's Dance" when Rory and Dean were walking in Stars Hollow after the dance.  One of my all-time favorite songs.  Their music is truly amazing and it's sad to hear that he died unexpectedly.  He is definitely one of a kind.
