Ok I know she was introduced to us last night but I like her. She reminds me a little bit of Rory. Anyways...lets show some love!! ;D

Yeah she looks like a nice kid. I like April. But I'm not ready to believe she is his daughter yet.....to soapy. But I do think it's a good idea to have this thread, cause if she is or not she's still funny to watch.

I didn't really like her last night, but now that I've slept on it I like her a little more.  I just don't want to see her mess up Luke & Lorelai's lives.  I just want more background on her.  It was cute that she was smart, that gave her a Rory-esque quality, but she seemed a little plain and mousy in contrast with the rest of the characters.

Personally, I really didn't feel anything towards her character. I think we still have a lot to learn about April. For now, all we know is that she's a brilliant girl and maybe a little weird too (remember the helmet-like thingy on her head lol, that was cute  :D). I think many fans have had this negative feeling towards April cuz we think it might (just might) ruin Luke and Lorelai's relationship. It might also mean we have to wait before there's a LL wedding. During last night's episode, I didn't have a feeling April wanted Luke to get back in her life. She didn't even ask much so I suppose she didn't want to get to know Luke either. If there's trouble ahead, I think it will more be from Luke. I think Luke is the kind of guy who would be very responsible for his actions. Now that he found out about having a daughter, he might want to assume his responsabilities. So for now, I just found her cute with her helmet lol. Guess we'll have to wait for other episodes to learn more about her!

I agree about the fact she didn't seem interested that Luke was her father, more like she was just interested in winning her Science Fair. (IMO)
This could change as the story line develops and I hope that we will get some "behind the story" information.

The helmet was too cute and funny.  She has a spark of personality just by wearing that thing and the fact that she snatched a hair from Luke's head - that too was quite funny.

LOL.........did u see Lukes face at the end of the episode when Lorelai came in and was crazy about Rory, THAT WAS SAD

I don't know that Lorelai would have a problem. I mean Luke didn't know about her til recently so she shouldn't be upset. I mean he loves her and she loves him. Besides Lorelai's got Rory.

I think she's wonderful...she'll add a nice spin on things since Rory is all grown up, and is having grown-up problems, it'll be nice to have a "kid" on the show again....i also loved that she wasn't fazed when her 'father' walked in...didn't bat an eyelash towards luke @ all.....it was great...for every man that has an ego, it took him down a notch...i just wonder what her mother was thinking..i mean damn she's obviously not far away so why didn't SHE let luke know what's happened.....he did have a right...oh well whatever her reasons i'm sure she'll be an interesting addition to the GG crew

I totally agree with you GiGi. I mean once Lorelai and Luke are married this we can see how well they work as parents. I think it could be interesting. I mean I don't expect that April will live with them but it'd be cool if she was around in some of the episodes. :)

i am okay with her..she is not my best choice of character still. i am starting to not like her less..i am fine as long as she doesnt ruin anything for Luke nd Lorelai. Buh knowing ASP, would it be taht easy?

Did anyone else see the resemblence between April, and Hannah from Everwood?  Not their personalities, but their physical features seemed very similar.  April looked like a young version of Hannah to me...

im kinda tourn.I think the prodoser people might be tring to replace Rory.I'd be really pissed if they did. I think i would rather have the show be cancelled than replace Rory. And I'm a hard core Gilmore Girls fan. I herd last year this was the last season and i was devestated. So they better not replace rory with April. :o
