Another one of my favorite scenes with them is when they go to the Town Meeting and Max gives them ring pops! hehe!

Wow! It's great to confess that we like Max as well... jajaja; and we also know that Luke isn't so jealous so... we like both of them and everybody is happy!!!
I loved the way he looked at Lorelai. It would be nice that at the end of the show he reappears, that he is finally over Lorelai and with a nice girlfriend (he deserves that!!!!). In the US college teachers can be high school teachers as well? Could he be Rory's teacher again at Yale (`cause she is going back, isn`t she??)
I "hated" Lorelai when he was going to marry Max and Luke was sad about it... ¡¡the hottest and nicest characters in love with her!! (and she spent a whole season with Jason, puaaaajjj)

"Cathartic"?  That cracks me up.  I'm pretty sticking you just for making me laugh!   

I love the Deer-Hunters episode; it's one of my favorites.  It's so cute how he leaves the message on her answering machine at the end of the episode and Lorelai just smiles as she listens to it.  And I love it when Lorelai is at the parent teacher's meeting and she comes in late, walks into the globe, and says, "What in the world?"  It gets me every time!

I also love their first date in Love, War, and Snow, and how she's up late with the window open, listening to his message over and over again. 

Oh, and Lorein_ARG, typically high school teachers can't teach college unless they've at least got their masters, and usually to teach at a school like Yale you'd probably need a PhD.  I thought it was weird when Max said he taught courses at Stanford because of that fact.  Although I guess since Chilton is such a prestigious school, it's possible he could have had his PhD, but I don't know.  I was a little skeptical about that.

I had teachers in high school (public) that had masters degrees and PhD's so it's not impossible.  Anyway, after watching todays episode on ABC Family I was thinking how weird it was that I LOVE the Luke character, but that didn't make me hate Max at all.  In fact I liked him, thought he was really nice and smart guy, and kinda cute too!

Yeah I love that scene too, but it's not like I watched it over and over until I could recite along with it or anything.  Nope never did that .

I loved that phone call.  It made me cry the first time I saw it.  Hee.

And, in regards to ABC Family...I think the only thing they don't edit is 7th Heaven.

I knew it was something like that, I just can't believe they actually edited it out .  I just rewatched Hammers and Veils today, it made me sad knowing that everything wasn't going to work out for them.  Of course at the time I knew it too, but I just didn't want to admit it.

Aw, I watched "Keg!Max!" today and it made me sad all over again about how things ended up between them. But I just cracked up at how he was so insistent about keeping distance between them.  He knew his weaknesses where she was concerned, that's for sure.  I still think it's interesting too how he was so adamant that they not get back together.  Lorelai really hurt him that first time around.

I love that scene, it makes me laugh so hard.  The whole desk pushing ten feet thing, hillarious.  And it gave me some closure on the whole Max situation, I think I needed it more than Lorelai.  You should have seen me when he came back a few episodes earlier, I started singing, no I'm not kidding.  I know I'm a JJ, but second choice wasn't so bad when it looked like they were never going to get back together.  Of course I won't tell you what I did when L/L finally got togther, cuz that might scare you .

Yep.  If someone could have seen me the night of season 5 finale...seriously, you would have thought I was insane.  I screamed and yelled "NOOOOOOOO!" repeatedly.  My sister, who was watching it in the other room, came out, watched me for a minute, and said "Lacey, that's enough."  She thought I was being funny.  But I really could not stop.  I almost cried.  It was bad.

So yes, we are all scary.

Personally, any man who would pay to have a 1000 yellow daisies sent to you is worth keeping around.  I think what was great about Max was how much he tried to adapt to Lorelai (ring pops, flowers, being late, etc.).  He loved being around her.  He just didn't seem to get Lorelai like Luke does ("Did I mention that you come here every damn day?" -Luke).   I love Max and, like the rest of you, I hope that he finds a great match in the gilmore universe.

I re-watched Cinnamons Wake last night, and I noticed something I never did before. When Lorelai and Max are in the coffee shop and he tells Lorelai this story, he's petting her arm all along. That looked so sweet.
