I was trying to think of something that anyone from anywhere in the world could participate in with as much or as little money as they had to spare. Then, I started trying to think of something we could that didn't involve much money at all but was for a good cause. I thought back to all the campaigning we did for the season 8 and all the ideas we had to get the word out and all. I thought about what we could do that would be for a good cause that we could use our creativity and that would allow us to use things we maybe already have, our skills or like I said creativity or thoughtfulness or something...
Could we write letters to somewhere or someone who would benefit form them? Could we do something to raise money for a charity? (but not necessarily have to have had the money in our pockets to give) Could we campaign for something useful or good or something?
Just trying to think outside the box for something that could be done by anyone from anywhere with anything.
Let's keep this thread alive!!

I think the biggest problem here is people are passionate about their own causes, which is a
good
thing, but makes it hard to get a consensus!
I think as Mel said anything based on politics/religion would probably be good to stay away from in terms of generating mass enthusiasm.
I think cancer's a good one (hey, all of these sentances start with 'I think' heh), beause it's pretty universal, there's very little politics involved, most people here have been affected or know someone affected by it, and it's also related to the show as Breast Cancer Research was Lauren's nominated charity on the poker thang.
That's just my two cents.
This thread is somewhat dead anyway *sniff*
