I am sure that she will still act, I hope that she does, because she is good.  I thought she was really great in the ER episode as well.
Her roots are with modeling and I think that she kind of missed it, although she did have several layouts in different magazines and such while she was doing Gilmore Girls so she never really left it behind.

I have to agree with the delivery of that line in Sisterhood 2.  It could have been done a lot better.  In a lot of her movies she does have a line or two that just don't sound right.  The delivery is too far off.  Her latest movies do look like they might be good.

I wish her well with both endevers, acting and modeling.  Can't wait to see what she does with them both.

Personally, I don't think she was good in the Travelling Pants movies. She could have done better. I am looking forward to seeing Post Grad. It seems like a fun movie plus her charcter is close to Rory so that's always a plus for a GG fan!  :)

I don't think that the Traveling Pants movies were her greatest either, but they weren't bad.  I haven't really check out much for Post Grad, but what I have seen or read seems like it will be good.  I, however don't want to see her in something where she is that much like Rory.  I want to see her be a different type of character.  Same with every one else from Gilmore Girls.  Yeah, it is nice to see bits and pieces show up, but I want to see them play different types of characters.  See what else they are able to do.  I don't want to be thinking of their Gilmore Girls roles when watching them do something else.

Been seeing the commercials for Alexis's new movie 'Post Grad'.  The more I see the ad, the more I want to see the movie.  It looks interesting.

I just wish they didn't mention the Sisterhood movies in those ads.

Oh, a few weeks ago.  I saw a cardboard cut out of Alexis at a movie theater when I went to see Harry Potter.  That was just weird.  I did pat the Alexis cardboard and I kinda wanted to make out with Rory Gilmore.

I think it will be decent.  It's a film that seems true to what is going on out there with post-grads.

Alexis is now in Canada filming a movie called "The Kate Logan Affair"   The filming started on 9/23 in Saint-Adele, QC which is some 43 miles from Montreal.  From there they will be going to Chambly, Montebello and then will go on to Montreal where shooting is scheduled to end on l0/19.

Her movie " The Good Guy" will be out in theaters some time next year.

Because it is so dead around here, I'm not going to worry about double posting too much.

I am getting so sick of limited release movies.  I just read that The Good Guy will be limited release and only show in like eight or ten theaters split between CA and NY and one in Ill..  The rest of the country doesn't get a chance to see a lot of movies made any more in the theater and it really stinks.  I hope that The Kate Logan Affair will hit theaters nation wide.

If I could, I would go and live with my sister in Santa Monica, CA.

thevoid, I just reread your post saying that you pat the Alexis cardboard and kinda wanted to make out with Rory.  I am sure I read it before, but I had a good laugh with it.  I needed that.

I don't think you're missing much, most of her movies aren't good enough. Post Grad was such a disappointment for me.

I'd still like to check a couple of them out.  I am also refering to Lauren's movies as well as a lot of others I would like to check out but they never hit the theaters around here.  It is getting to the point where I am thinking that they are making movies just for the fun of it and not expecting for them to be seen by anyone or al least just a few.  I hate living in the middle of the country, but here I am stuck.

I did hear The Good Guy is better than Post-Grad but not so much.

I think some people are still used to her as Rory Gilmore so it's hard for her to branch out a bit.

I've seen her in other movies and I don't see her as Rory.  Even if I watch some one in something for a long time, such as GG, when I see them in something else I just see them as the new character.  I have no problem with that.  Yeah, I will admit that once in awhile they might do or say something that reminds me of the other character, but then it is right back to the new one.  I am glad that I don't have that problem so that I am able to appreciate the talent of the person and enjoy each project that they take on with out bringing any old ones to it.

Hey strangers :)

So I was watching Mad Men the other day and saw Alexis and her character had sex with a character I dont like and a few episodes later she almost got her boobies out and I sat there going "NO RORY, DONT!" and yelling at the TV...unfortunately to me she will always be Rory and should keep her boobs to herself :)
