Why is that when I look at Alexis from season 1-4 and compare her to season 5 and 6 she looks completely different. I mean just look at Alexis in Season 1 or 2 and see her now, I can't believe how much she has changed :o

Well she go from a cute girl to a attractive woman. Just the way of the world baby :)
But yes, it is wird when you compere pictures. All the way from "cute kid" to "Nice (understatement) woman"

Funny you should ask. I thought so too. She DOES look taller!

I am new to this board and a semi new GG fan. I started watching in April because my daughter kept the TV on when she left the room and GG came on. I thought I was ignoring it and just making dinner but next thing I know I'm hooked. HARD!!!!! It's the best show on the planet! Characters, writing, chemistry! Everything!

One question? Why am I already seeing reruns of the reruns (not primetime) when I just tuned in in April?
They've been on 5 seasons? Wheres the rest? I guess it's time to put GG seasons DVDs on my Christmas list!

If your in the states there is NO reason not to get bye the DVD's. We dont have them in Europa yet :'(

Ahem. Though I'm frusterated with Rory, hopefully we'll see that awesome S1 Rory I love so much soon! Or my DVD's will get another spin...

Pregnancy? No way. I wouldn't want Rory to be pregnant with Logan's kid. It'd go two ways-Either Logan will dump her or they'll get married and Rory will become a trophy wife and a perfect socialite and Logan will be cheating on her with a maid or secretary.

I think Emily will find out they're having...um, discretions, in the pool house. I read it somewhere else. Yeah, that'd be the best bet.

As of late, I'm pissed at Rory. What happened to the golden girl she was?

I don't think Alexis has changed that much from season 1 to 6. She obviously looks older since she's now 24.

Her hair style looks less girlish in season 6.

Well it depent on how the picture is taken i guess. Try look at this.



I would say that she looks as herself on the ones you have. On mine there is a clear difference. But thats the thing with light an makeup :-\

Lauran looks good as allways :)

I know I was a little mad at Rory for dropping out of Yale,but she did it for a reason I think! Ever since 2 episodes ago,we found out why!!!!! Rory quit Yale because Logan's dad got her a job working for him as a journalist,and Logan's dad thinks she didn't  have the tallent,so he fired her! So Rory's dreams where shattered! So when you go to school to find out what u wanna b when u grow up,Rory already new so he crashed her dreams down!!!!! That's why she quit! Because she thought why go to school if I don't have the tallent to do what I love to do? So everyone start loving Rory again,you would probably quit to if the same thing happened to you! So start liking Rory........and "OY WITH THE POODLES ALREADY"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:(

I'm not really sure, and I'm not the mod, but I think maybe this should have went in "Lorelai vs. Rory" or "Rory Appreciation/Discussion".

I think people pretty much realize why she dropped out, but it's just so not like Rory to give up.  And this wasn't some little thing...this was her life.  I mean, the whole show was geared towards Rory getting into her dream college, and then one guy - yeah, an important guy, but still just one - tells her that she can't do it and she gives up completely.  That's not her character at all.  Plus the moving in with the grandparents.  That's like the biggest betrayal I can think of.  It makes me mad, so imagine how Lorelai must feel

I noticed it all of a sudden, lol. I watched an eppy of Season 3, a little while later I watched Season 6. She's definitely not a little girl any more. Plus she's the same age as my brother o.O. As for spellings, right at the start I used to spell it Laurelei, cuz I knew a person who spelled it that way. I soon learned though, heh.
