And I agree with something someone said a few pages back, maybe it was on another thread, I'm pretty sure it was this one though, but they said that they liked Jess and Rory more in season 2 than season 3.  I agree.  Jess and Rory were great friends, but once they started dating, Jess kind of left Rory in the dust at times.

I know I’m not the one who said that but I made a comment on that a while ago. Jess sorta thought he was ready for a relationship cause he really, REALLY liked Rory. But when he actually started the relationship, he wasn’t that capable. But, he tried… which I think is important.

Right on, Pri! ! But with ASP, as we all know, there is no telling what she would do with the story line. I've gotten the impression she did not approve of the way DR handled the break-up between Rory and him and might want to further explore it. One good thought is if Luke & Lorelai get married, because Jess would be the most obvious choice as best man and would provide the perfect opportunity for him to appear on the scene. Jess as best man, Rory as maid of honor.......

I actually think ASP wants Logan to be back into the picture. Remember when Milo said that he didn’t wanna come back to GG? [Which I think is completely ridiculous…] Even if ASP did want Jess back, someone would have to convince Milo to do the part. And if Milo does it, maybe Alexis & him will get back together again. =)

Has anyone seen the movie "Clueless"? Alicia Silverstone winds up with Paul Rudd at the end, even though his mom and her dad had previoulsy been married. It sounds weird, but again there were no blood ties, just a lot of hormones in action.

"Dis"- none taken. It wouldn't be like, "Eugh, you're my cousin!"...it's not blood or anything, and they've already been together before; not a huge transition. I have a cousin who married his cousin through marriage, it's not as disgusting as you imagine.

Here's what I said about the cap before:  I would have to say that this is my favorite.  I've always thought that it just kind of captured the whole Lit relationship.  I love how their foreheads rest together; you can really see their connection and how much they've wanted this.  *sigh*  I'm probably reading way too much into a single pic...but I don't care.  It's just perfect.

I freaking love that movie!!  It's actually a modern version of Emma, which is what I used as my example!    Funny story: a few years ago -- right after I read Emma for the first time -- I went to Blockbuster to rent Emma.  I got it and was looking for another random movie, saw Clueleless -- which I had never even heard of -- and thought it looked good.  So I rented it.  While I was watching it, I was like "This is so Emma!  Even some of the characters' names are the same!"  So I looked it up...and there it was, "A modern day adaption of Jane Austen's 'Emma.'"

When i lived in New York i once attended a lecture series that included Amy Heckerling, the woman who wrote and directed "Clueless". She was part of a panel discussion with a bunch of literary geeks and talked about using "Emma" as the model for "Clueless". She actually got a lot of respect from the lit geeks, and no wonder because the movie is so frickin' smart and hilarious at the same time, definitely not yer typical dumbed-down teen flick.

Sharon's nickname: She is such a whiz at providing answers and facts about GG, maybe she could be the Literati Factoid Queen.
