I am glad at least heroes and Gilmore Girls won some! But, OMG why did Veronica Mars win? it was canceled because of not many viewers!

to be quiet honest. I love gg but veronica mars was a good show which was getting on its feet. Gilmore girls had a good 7 years while vm had 3 and people wanted more.  It had great writing, good acting etc. Even though the ratings where not that high. they where significant.  The rating system we currently use needs a major overhaul.  I find it ironic that cw drops all the shows with strong female main characters, in the same year.
