I liked him on Greys!  I'm with you Dani, especially a scene with Alex, although I have to say I was very disappointed in Alex at the end of the episode.  I didn't like him in the beginning when he was mean, then he changed and stole my heart, I don't want to see the mean Alex come back again!  The scene with him and Cristina was great when they both admitted to each other that they missed Burke and Rebecca/Ava.

Ok, enough about Alex (I'll save that for The Incision forum!)...I thought Edward Hermann did a great job, and it was nice to see him more laid back.  When I first heard he was on Grey's I pictured him coming on full time as some type of specialist as well.  Or maybe an experienced doctor with a different approach.

I still love Alex, but I'll refrain from giving my dissertation on him in this episode.  On the Norman front, it was weird to see Edward Herrmann getting a Bailey smackdown.

I don't know.  It just sounded wrong to hear those words coming out of Edward Herrmann's mouth.  Funniest thing is how he dwarfs everyone.  He's a giant next to the rest of the characters.  Makes me realize just how tall the actors playing his family on Gilmore Girls really are.

As for the end, I tend not to comment on anything to do with Derek.  I can never be quite sure if a criticism I have is based on my rational view of things, or the pure blind hatred of him that keeps me company as I watch the show.

In his first episode I wasn't sure what to think of his character, but he is starting to grow on me a little. I am just glad he is going something because his talent needs to be seen.

Oh yay!! I love Grey's so I can't wait to see him in it. though I'll keep thinking of him as rory's grandfather. xD

Yeah...same here....It's weird seeing the actors/actresses on different shows.

Oh my god, Norman is kind of my life at this point. SO FUNNY!!! And it's hillarious to see this fumbling old guy in contrast to uptight Richard...makes me laugh every SINGLE time. Oh, Norman...

lol, he's great. I'm glad Norman isn't in surgery anymore, because it's just not him  Grin but I think he would make a good pediatrician or something like that. he seems very friendly.

Ah, and it's so weird seeing Edward Herrmann play a character like this but you get used to it I guess. It was very pleasant. But the beard, uh-uh, don't like it much lol. I guess they just wanted to emphasize how old he is.

thats great news.I've never watched that show is it good??

any good?? a trillion times better than any good. Like this:

I just loved Edward Herrmann's arc on GA!!!  Nod  He did a great job.  Like others have mentioned, my favorite part is when he kept saying, "Seriously?!?"   Cheesy  It is wonderful to see our beloved GG cast members on such wonderful shows.  I am loving GA season 4 so much right now!  I think it's already better than last season.

Unfortunately, this was his last episode.  Too bad, because Norman finally came off like a smart adult (the show needs them) instead of someone trying way too hard to be young.  I would have liked to see the Norman in the last episode for a few more episodes.
