I know...on the other coast.  Not even a slight chance they'll run into each other.  Well, not a chance I'd like to believe.

I liked Tristan, not Logan.  Tristan seemed different from Logan...and maybe I wouldn'tve liked Tristan had he and Rory dated, but I always liked him and was sad when he left.  He added interesting parts to the story.  I agree, it'd be cool to see where he is now.

Unfortunately, we'll always have to see Logan in reruns, which is what I'll have to live off now.  3 seasons of him...that's 3 too many!!

Hell, I'd take Tristan over Logan every day. I can see Tristan growing out of his annoying quirks, I saw Logan only get mroe of them.

I totally agree. With all this talk about a GG movie, I'd reeeally like to see Tristan in it. It'd be cool to see how he turned out. But if she ends up with Logan somehow, wow, it'll be suckiest day ever(besides GG ending of course)

oooh yeah to see Tristan in the Gilmore Movie would be great however if Logan appears in the gilmore movie I will kill someone I would scream I would be sooooooooo angry!!

I hate how Logan lost ALL THAT MONEY, and he still had almost no problem getting a job later on. I'm sure he worked hard and all, but I would've liked a little longer of time, with him feeling like a failure. lol, yeah I'm kinda harsh today.

I don't think you are being harsh at all. Of course Logan can get another job no problem after losing all the money, because he is a rich, spoiled, pampered wheeny butt who can always fall back on his family connections.

I think Logan's popularity with viewers is based on the "swoon" factor of his allegedly pretty face. How many viewers can really relate to that guy and his rich snobby background? I don't get it. I cannot fathom how anyone really thinks Rory belongs with him long-term, based on what is really in Rory's best interest. She was supposed to give up her own dreams to follow his pre-fabricated plan to live in California at his house with his frickin' avocado tree?

Rory's decision to turn down his marriage proposal (it was really an ultimatum) was true to her character. I think a true Gilmore Girl follows her own path on equal terms with her guy. Lorelai told Rory she made the right decision in turning him down, and that's good enough for me.

LOL.   I have an alternate - and more permanent -  solution. I previously brought this up on another thread and this seems like a good moment to rekindle the flame:

Logan is in CA at his new home, feeling depressed over losing Rory. He is of course drunk, his solution to all of life's problems. He decides to plant an avocado tree in Rory's honor. It just happens to be near a cliff (being a Huntzberger he of course has a home overlooking the ocean). He slips, falls off the cliff and SPLAT that's the end of Logan.

As an extra twist, as he is falling, Jess happens to be walking by (Jess is in CA visiting his father). Jess thinks "should i try to catch him" and quickly decides "nah" and keeps walking.

^LOL!!! perhaps not as likely but hilarious and definitly a dream come true especially if Jess then goes to find Rory and says something along the lines of 'I love you and that's all that matters can we forget out past and just be here in love' and then he kisses her!

anyway this isn't the Lit thread so.....

I think the Logan question is one of the key issues about a possible movie. I read somewhere that one reason Amy wants to do a movie is because she did not like the way Logan was dismissed from the show. I hope that's not true and i hope he is not a main part of the movie. If he must appear, hopefully it would only be for a little bit... just long enough for Rory to reject him all over again.

I hope he's not in the movie, or if he is, he finds Rory utterly happily in love with someone else (coughJesscough) and leaves angrily, realizing she's moved on.  But making them reconcile would make me very upset and probably dislike the movie. 

I enjoy the thought of him falling off the cliff.

We agree that Logan must be dispensed of (off the cliff or otherwise) and i also like coughjesscough, but  i have no problem with Rory finding a cough NEW GUY cough...  Let our dear Rory move on to someone new, that's what i'm thinking and coughing....

True, a new guy would be nice, but then again...lol.  But finding her happily with a new guy, who's different from Dean/Jess/Logan would be interesting too.
