The show is very much like 'Freaks and Geeks,' which I loved.  I'll be watching this one from now on.

Well, it's not the show which I'm so disappointed about, it's Scott Patterson. He acts... well, strange.. and I'm not sure that's just because of the part he's playing. He was just so great when playing Luke and now..

Well, we'll see, right? Let's talk about it after a couple of epis....

I have never seen the show, what nite is it on?  Sounds like it is doing quite well..  I heard he plays the father.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own

I just caught the beginning of this show and Scott's a little strange...I am not sure if it is just the part or what. I am going to finish this episode before I make a call on whether or not I will watch it again...I like Raja (sp?)

I think we are all going to have to let go of the Luke persona if we are ever going to be comfortable seeing Scott Patterson in another role.  He plays a working-class middle-American father.  We can't hold on to the flannel wearing man he used to play.  He's expanding his repertoire.

The show seemed funny.
Scott however WAS weird, I agree.
Not bad acting weird, just not a good character weird.

Hopefully its just the writing.
love is blind so you didn't see me.

I've only watched the show twice, and I like it. His role is so different from Luke. I probably just have high standards after seeing him on GG, but I don't think he's as good in the part as he was playing our favorite stickler.

I got some sad news.  The show has been cancelled.

I tried to watch a few episodes and... it's just to weird to see Scott Patterson in a suit, acting like a dad with a soft sitcomy-voice.

I'm sorry, I'm just too used to him as the loveable gruff we all know and love, Mr. Luke Danes.

At least he's got Saw 5 coming out.

Dammit, now he's gotta find work again.

It is sad that the show was cancelled.  I only watched 3 or 4 of the episodes because I really didn't like Scott's character in it.  He is a total 180 from Luke.  The way he acted, the way he ate (so really not Luke like) and just everything else.  There was something about Amy's character that reminded me of another character in something else but I couldn't figure out who and it just didn't sound right to me.  Plus it bugged me that I couldn't figure out who it was.

Well as you say, we have SAW V to look forward to and hopefully he will get another TV show soon, if that is what he wants to do, and gets other movie rolls.  I really like the serious Scott in movies.  The comedy side is good, too, as long as it's not a goofy side.

I have seen Scott in several other movies, Little Big League, Intent to Kill, Rhapsody in Bloom, Alien Nation: Dark Horizon, Three Wishes and Saw lV. Also saw him on TV in Fired Up, Will & Grace, Seinfeld and Arli$$.  He was good in all of them.  Some parts were small and some he wasn't very nice in, but he was still good in them.

Wow, now that is Scott P. devotion  :o ... I haven't seen any of those.  :-[

I'm sure AiA getting cancelled is actually good for Scott because now he can apply for different roles and since it's been a year since GG the CW might not have a fishing-line on his contract anymore.
