Jason:Missing in Action

I am an all Luke and Lorelai fan and I loved that she left Jason for Luke but could he have left in a better way. In the show when Lorelai comes back from the drama of Rory and Dean, she learns that Jason left because "his condo was on fire" or that's what Sookie and Michel told him. The last we saw of him was when he stepped out to use the bathroom. I was glad the show got rid of him because I thought he was really annoying.
One of the reasons we love Gilmore Girls is beacuse of the drama (and of course the comedy), I think that Jason could have left in a better way, such as Luke and Jason fight over Lorelai, Jason sees Lorelai and Luke kiss, or something more dramatic that has Luke fighting for her and he wins of course. ???
Maybe Im acting crazy but hope to hear what some other people have to say about this.

Rory: Look how you just said, "Luke can waltz."
Lorelai: What, I'm just saying, I'm surprised that Luke can waltz.
Rory: That sounded more like, "I'm surprised I still have my clothes on."

I agree.  He was a major part of the show for a few episodes and therefore should have had a more dramatic exit.

Perhaps he is still in the bathroom?  :D

I will let you down.  I will make you hurt.  What have I become?

LOL...yeah that would be funny

Rory: Look how you just said, "Luke can waltz."
Lorelai: What, I'm just saying, I'm surprised that Luke can waltz.
Rory: That sounded more like, "I'm surprised I still have my clothes on."

I was happy they got rid of Jason, he wasnt really a good character. If I was Richard I would probably do the same thing, you got to do what you got to do.

jason seemed like such a spoiled brat - and his dad was such a devious underhanded creep that jason had to have learned some of those rotten tricks - besides, how could richard trust him when he turned on his dad that way? both jason and max just kind of evaporated or something

I also thought it was stupid the way they just sort of dropped him off the face of the Earth like that. ASP couldn't have thought of anything reasonable to do with that? I mean heck yeah I was happy he was gone and made way for Lorelai and Luke but come on...

What I hated the most about him was how he often chose his job or working over Lorelai. He used business everwhere he went with Lorelai. Their first date was all about where he usually goes for business and that was very uncomfortable. He wasn't willing to do ANYTHING to interact with other people or to loosen up. He was on the cell phone pretty much RIGHT after he had sex with Lorelai... how romantic. :-\  When he visted Stars Hollow all her cared about was translating to business men about insurance... Lorelai even had to be Luke and yell at him to get off the phone. ::) Then of course I didn't even have to WONDER why Lorelai never went to seek comfort with Jason in "The Incredible Shrinking Lorelais". Because all he would've concerned about was WHY her grandmother doesn't like him and wine about the antique book. To top it all off Jason pulls the lawsuit against her father even when she firmly states she can't be with him and begs him not to. :'( All he cared about at that point was him and his business. I understand he just lost his entire business and her father had everything to do with it BUT he could always rebuild his business and start over. He could always find another insurance company to take part in... ANYTHING if he really cared about Lorelai enough. But he didn't and wouldn't.  >:(

With this said, now I really don't care what happened to him. He could've gotten hit by that bus that missed Christopher for all I care. As long as he's gone and never ever coming back.

7.1-Luke to Lorelai- "It's like my life isn't even real to me unless you're there, and you're in it, and I'm sharing it with you..."

^ I agree. Jason seemed annoying and business business was his game. I didn't like him when he decided not to go with Emily's dinner party. I mean...she kinda did all the work for nothing. But I thought their first date was kinda interesting and unique.
