I think according to the spoilers that we will see Anna in the episode after.

@Liz - I do not think Lorelai will force Rory to reconcile, but, I do believe she will ask her to try. I also think she will try to run interference if she can - likely Emily will steamroll both of them!  However, Rory is still obligated to the Grandparents as she made the bargain, not Loreleai.  So, until she resolves that open issue, she can not legitamately avoid them.  (Even if Chris has agreed to pay for the rest of Yale).

Thanks Gilmore24. I missed that on Leno. How funny. I just hit you with a pretty stick for bringing us good info and posting it in the right spot. :) It does seem like the fight scene. Wouldn't it be funny, if it was John M as the maid?! :D

Thanks! Glad I could help. Yes it would be funny if John was the maid  :D

I agree. I'm sure Lorelai will try to do what is best for Rory - Lorelai and Emily have their problems, but Lorelai knows that Rory and Emily always had a good relationship. I think that Emily, after waiting a while, will probably call and ask them to come to dinner. She's not one to shy away from confrontation, and she let it go for a while (probably because she was hurt and mad and needed time to think and probably knew Rory needed her space) but now she probably wants to settle things.

And thank goodness Lorelai is there to break the tension (with the cookie comment, and probably more knowing Lorelai). Just like Emily is not one to shy away from confrontation, Lorelai is not one to shy away from making a joke!  ;D
Rory to Paris: You're like a pop up book from hell.

Emily to Lorelai: Walk as you babble please.

Richard: Look at this! I'm walking around, and I'm still on the internet. Emily, I'm going to google you.
Emily: You are certainly not going to google me!

I imagine Emily will EXPECT them to come to dinner, not ask, since from the spoilers it doesn't seem like they've told her about Christopher paying for Yale yet.  Emily would never let them back out on the deal no matter how upset she was with Rory.  I think that is how they are going to keep the dinner thing going, that even though Christopher is going to pay for the last 2 years of Yale, Rory was to pay Richard and Emily back and come to dinner, so she'll still have to come to dinner or pay for the first 2 years. Though if Christopher is that rich why not just get him to pay off Richard and Emily?

We dont have details yet about the deal with Chris. Emily will hold on to Friday dinners because she believes that is the only regular contact she has with Lorelai and Rory. Above all else, she does really love Lorelai and Rory.

I know we don't have details yet but there has to be a catch somewhere to keep Lorelai and Rory going to the dinners, or keep Emily and Richard in the picture somehow.  Even though the relationship between Lorelai and Emily has grown a bit in the last 5 years, I don't think Lorelai's at the point where she'll just go to dinner every Friday night because she WANTS to, thus there has to be a catch, there always has been.  :-\

I would like to believe no catch required, but you are probably correct. Perhaps the Chris plan to provide for Yale will hit a snag.

emily and i think richard are "regulars" so they have to keep them in the cast, therefor they have to have some contact with rory and lorelai just to keep them in the show since they are getting payed

I do not believe anyone said they will not be around. We are discussing reasons for Friday night dinners to continue. Some believe Lorelai has grown up enough to let them continue without strings. Some believe there still needs to be strings. Of course, Emily always feels more comfortable in having the strings in place.

Exactly.  We weren't saying they were not going to be on the show anymore, just speculating how/what the writers are going to come up with next to keep them in touch with Lorelai/Rory and continue the dinners once Chris is paying for Yale.

From Ask Ausiello (TV Guide):
"Episode 13 — which is slated to air on Jan. 24 — marks the long-awaited return of Friday-night dinners at the Gilmore manse. This is the first time Emily, Richard, Lorelai and Rory will be alone in the same room together since the Big Split of '05 last May, so expect the Amy Sherman-Palladino-penned outing to be brimming with cathartic outbursts. And it's not just recent events that get dredged up during the meal-cum-melee, which goes on for a record eight scenes. At one point, Emily reopens a 20-year-old wound when she lashes out at Lorelai for getting pregnant and ruining her life."

Looks like the dinner scene will be good!

In that little blip I saw on Leno, the tensions were definitely high. I'm glad Rory is facing her problems, but I'm also glad that Lorelai is there as sort of an ally.

One thing though...Emily saying Lorelai ruined her life when she got pregnant - isn't that an insult to Rory? I mean Emily never hid her disappointment in Lorelai, but I don't think she ever directly said, in front of Rory, that Lorelai "ruined her life" by getting pregnant. Maybe she doesn't say it directly, maybe she words it differently. I guess with 8 scenes a lot is going to be said! :o
Rory to Paris: You're like a pop up book from hell.

Emily to Lorelai: Walk as you babble please.

Richard: Look at this! I'm walking around, and I'm still on the internet. Emily, I'm going to google you.
Emily: You are certainly not going to google me!

I haven't been online that much so I don't know if these (to me anyways) new spoilers from Fanforum have been posted already. Here they go:
Caps of the stores Lorelai and Sookie go shopping for a weddingdress: http://www.fanforum.com/showpost.php?p=7922061&postcount=55

Lorelai's reaction to April: http://www.fanforum.com/showpost.php?p=7923024&postcount=72

Interview: http://www.fanforum.com/showpost.php?p=7937494&postcount=23
- Chris will have 5 more episodes.
- Kirk will stay (weird, cause the same guy said he will go last month.... ::)  Ohh well We'll see).
- And at FND 'At one point, Emily reopens a 20-year-old wound when she lashes out at Lorelai for getting pregnant and ruining her life'. Yeah that's they way to keep your daughter!   ::)

Rory will kiss Logan in episode 6.13: http://www.fanforum.com/showpost.php?p=7915634&postcount=196
More Logan/Rory stuff: http://www.fanforum.com/showpost.php?p=7917725&postcount=218
Rory/Logan timeline: http://www.fanforum.com/showpost.php?p=7934865&postcount=258
LORELAI: Oh, don’t be embarrassed Snuffy, I’m just teasing. It’d be a Mets cap.
LUKE: Could you possibly leave me and little missus alone for just a minute?
Luke: Got a handful of Barbie.

I think Rory and Lorelai both know Emily doesn't mean to insult Rory. Emily just feels Lorelai ruined her life by not marrying Chris and not going to college. Emily has said in the past how they have never thought of Rory of a mistake.

I like the sound of this episode, if it finally makes all the Gilmore's closer and try to forgot about and move on from the past.
As the show approaches it's final season (whenever it will be) I personally would like to see Lorelai and Emily get closer, like they seemed to be starting to in the early seasons.

I think Emily's comment has something to do with the fact that Chris is rich now. In a 'if you married him then you'd be rich now' kinda way.
LORELAI: Oh, don’t be embarrassed Snuffy, I’m just teasing. It’d be a Mets cap.
LUKE: Could you possibly leave me and little missus alone for just a minute?
Luke: Got a handful of Barbie.

more chris!! oh well, i don't think that he will mess up Luke/Lorelai this time.  He is probably just there for Rory and the money and as a "friend".

But don't expect Lorelai to be all happy about this. She's obviously having issues with the whole Luke has a kid thing. But tries to be supportive - even in 6.13.

April tells her!  well, that does seem like april's personality, though we do not know her too well right now to really know what her personality is.  I wonder if luke told her that he and Lorelai are engaged... also wondering why is April there in the first place...  did luke call anna up and ask to see his "daughter"? or did she just show up again?  I'm glad that Rory is talking scense. I bet one thing she says has to do with how Lorelai has her (as a daughter).

Rory and Logan will get back together.  Maybe the time appart has made logan think, or Rory when they talk, makes him think and become a better person, not one who is going out to get drunk every night, but one who will take charge of his future for what he wants to do.  Or, maybe Rory kisses him because she does miss him and she was sorry for missing the dinner and he came to help her out and she was greatful.  I don't think we know what type of kiss it was (very passionate, or a little kiss).
