Does anyone like Josh Turner here? He's a country artist so some people might not have heard of him. I really like his new song "Firecracker."

I'm in the process of collecting names of songs for my upcoming wedding so any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks in advance!  ;D

I. LOVE Josh Turner. Oo, that voice. Could make a girl go weak in the knees! But that song is so overplayed, I am so sick of it.
I can't think of an wedding songs, I might get back to you. Don't count on it...:-\

Take my hand and drag me head first, fearless.

I also love "Will You Go With Me." I love how he can make his voice so low.  ;D It makes me smile just thinking of it.  :D

my friend found the funniest song the other day, i don't know how, anyway it's called "taylor the latte boy" and it's by kristen chenoweth, who was the original galinda/glinda in wicked. It had me laughing so hard.  ;D

i know two good father/daughter songs are "I loved her first" by Heartland and "My little girl" by tim mcgraw. i really like those songs. If you're not really into country, then i don't recommend them b/c they're country songs, but i think they're really sweet. Also, most anything by Josh groban: you raise me up, you're still you, etc. Josh Groban's songs are all so sweet & his voice is so powerful! hope it helped!

I just got the Juno soundtrack, which got me hooked on Belle and Sebastian and Kimya Dawson. Has anyone heard her? She's great!

I like the song "Stealing Cinderella" but I can't remember the name of the guy who sings it. I also like "What a Wonderful World" for a father/daughter song (the version by Louis Armstrong. I'm getting married on June 21.

I know who they are, but unfortunately I don't really like them.  I have a theory.  The more obsurd a band name is...the less I like them.  But that's just me.  I heard a comedian the other day on one of the XM channels and he was making fun of all these band names lately that are just numbers or exclamation points or random punctuation.  It was hilarious!  Examples would be Panic! At the Disco, Chk Chk Chk, just to name a few.  Have fun!  I am not trying to bash you, just saying that band names are odd these days.
Well they have been together for a while so I don't know if I'd classify them as being around just "these days."  I don't like Panic! though.  I think I've gotten some people to go with me to the concert.  I lent out my !!! cds to friends and I've got a small contingent going with me.  Should be fun.

Has anyone heard Mary J. Blige's new CD? I love it!

And yes! I'm just as excited as Mel - maybe even more!

How do you get that date counter thing in your sig? Do tell! Thanks!  :)
