I love musicals too, in fact if I'm going to buy a new CD it will most likely be another musical that I don't own yet.  Some of my favorites are Smokey Joes Cafe, West Side Story ... as well as the broadway versions of Beauty & the Beast and Lion King.  Yet, it's so hard to only pick a few ... I love my musicals almost equally!

I'm not big on musicals but i love West Side Story. So many good songs in that one.

I'm not sure if this was posted already or not, it's been awhile since I've posted here.  Anyone check out the new Smashing Pumpkins CD?

speaking of musicals, I was in the pit-band when my highschool did "Pippen."  Every time I see that GG episode "we've got magic to do" I always think of that song and that musical.  It was a lot of fun, but some crazy weird music to learn!  I serioulsy think whoever wrote the music for it was high or had no idea how to write music.  It sounded good after a while, but man, it was so hard to learn!

Funny!! I don't know if he was high or not but Stephen Schwartz definitely knows how to write music or at least people seem to think so since he wrote the music (and lyrics) for Wicked.  Its pretty popular.  Wink

Man it feels like years since I've been on this thing.  Anyways the Cd's that I have purchased or "whatever" with them--

  Dinosaur Jr. Beyond
  Feist           The Reminder
I got some more, but my mind is a little lagged.

I recently purchased the new Spoon cd "Ga Ga Ga'

I heard some of Spoon, how's the cd?

As of the Smashing Pumpkin's, I haven't picked it up yet, because I'm a little ify on it.   Loved them, but I don't know.

Rascal Flatts is one of the most amazing bands ever!!!! I've seen them in conscert twice.
Taylor Swift is becoming one of my faviortes. I love her songs!
Carrie Underwood, I've always liked.....

I'm kinda the same way, my friends call me crazy because they know that I'm a country girl at heart. But then on my myspace profile I have songs like,
"Lips of an Angel" By Hinder
"Will I?" From the movie Rent
"I Can Only Imagine" by- Mercyme
"Louisana Woman, Mississippi Man" Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn
"End of the Road" Boy II Man
" She will be Loved" by Maroon 5
"Move Along" All American Rejects
"Independence day" Martina McBride
"Before He CHeats" Carrie Underwood
"Rent-revised" By Johnathan Larwson
"Your the One THat I want" Grease
"Forever and Always" Shina Twian
"Don't Take the Girl" Tim McGraw
"Teardrops on My Gutiar" Taylor Swift
"Your Still the One" Shina Twain
"Out Tonigh" From Rent
"Party for Two" Shina Twain and Billy Currington
and
"Here For the Party" Gretchen Wilson

So that's my music taste at the moment.

well I don't know most of them but the Fray are really good. Queen are soooo classic it's not even true and the Plain White T's are really really cool! The plain white t's song hey there delilha is stuck in my head right now!!!

I'm not so sure about if i like musicals or not. they are kinda strange and sometimes they're annoying. I've never seen West side story.
