^^ lol, that's what I've been thinking. Once Luke and Lorelai get married, Rory and Jess will, technically, be related. So I don't think the writers will be bringing back Jess for Rory. Although I myself loved those two together.

Oh, and I voted for Luke and Lorelai to get married! I can't wait until the episode where we finally get to see them take their vows. I'll probably cry lmao.

Technicly people Rory and Jess would not be related by blood, they would be related by Luke and Lorilia's marraige, yes, it would be wierd but it could still happen. Just thought I should clear that up.

I would like to see Lorelai and Luke walk down the isle to be married.  I wonder what kind of wedding they would have, I see it being outdoors like Sookie and Jackson. 

Jess is Luke's Nephew not his son, so even though they would be related by marriage nothing would cause the "ick" factor for Rory & Jess to hook up later down the road. They would only be step-cousins (I think that would be there relations to each other)

hmmmmm, well i dont think the WB would want people to get confused so it has got to be one or the other! As much as I want Luke and Larelai to get married, I dont think Lorelia is gonna go through with it, with Luke having a kid and with her recent relationships most signs point to no.

Good point there StarsHollowGirl22...there might be some "shake-up" over Luke having a kid and that really could do a world of hurt to Lorelai who has always been honest with Luke about all the mysteries in her life.  I would like some true evidence of April being Luke's child, that really needs to be established....I would rather see Luke and Lorelai get together more than Jess and Rory.  So maybe or at least hopefully TPTB will straightened everything out...

I don't think Luke having a kid will ruin their relationship. If Lorelai lets it I'll be pissed. lol. I really don't see it happening though. I mean, sure, she'll probably be upset at first and hurt that he didn't tell her when he first found out, but I don't think it's something that's so big that it could end their relationship. Lorelai talking to Chris and not telling Luke about it was a bigger issue, and although they broke up for a few episodes, they still made it through. So I have no doubts that Lorelai has finally found 'the one' in Luke and will go through with the marriage. After all, she's the one who proposed!

I actually picked Jess & Rory even though I love Luke & Lorelai.  I sort of view them as the inevitable couple that will eventually get married...even if they take the roundabout way to get there.  Therefore, I would rather see a "new" Jess with a "new" Rory.  I think that she grew a lot in the last few episodes and realized what's really important to her and now that she's more focused I'd like to see her with someone else who is.

I voted for Lorali and Luke to get married.  I also think that Jess and Rory should get together, Logan was trying so hard to get back in the picture on the last episode Like Gwen and Gavin.  I think he should just go away!!!!

I have often thought this myself. If Taylor had to hook up with anyone I would say it would have to be patty.

wow, I"m sort of surprised by everyone who said they want rory and jess,
or Luke and Lorelai to be together. They are my choices too, so
I feel far from alone. Well, my input on the jess and rory being 'related' thing
is that I don't think it would be weird at all. There really isn't anything gross
about it, but I can see how some might think so. But I love jess and  rory together
so can't help it. Also, ever since "Please Luke, Please Please Please..." I've been
waiting for those two to have a happily ever after TOGETHER.

I of course would love to see Lorelai and Luke get married.  In New Zealand we haven't seen the latest series yet.  We are up to the series before the current one.  But I would also love to see Dean and Rory back together because I think thats how it is suppose to be.

I hate that she hasn't told Luke that she wants to get married June 3rd. But I am sure he'll find out soon enough.
