Last time we saw her act on impulse like this was when she skipped school at Chilton to visit Jess in NY and missed Lorelai's graduation!
Maybe Lorelai's right in that her judgement is only ever clouded when it comes to her boyfriends. That's a little sad and kind of diminishes her character...

I agree for the most part. I don't want to say it diminishes her character, because with certain guys, I think all of us girls have a weak spot. It just seems like Rory has that problem with Dean, where her judgement is totally clouded and she reasons away all the reasons why what DID happen SHOULDN'T have happened. And with Lorelai, it's with Christopher. She had sex with him on Richard and Emily's balcony...location, location, location, people.

I really adored this episode. at first i wasnt a big fan of logan, i guess that was the intention of the writers, having to grow to love him, as we know rory and logans relationship blossoms to something much more serious than it was at this point in the show, actually it wasnt even a relationship at this stage. In this episode, i grew to personally love the whole rory and logan idea. They moment they had after the spontaneous jump was so magical. I was counting the episodes until she would break up with dean.. although he was a divorcee, dean had changed since the last time they had dated, wasnt as sweet to rory. Again i think this was an intention of the writers, make sure we didnt get too attatched to dean, so rorys first relationship with an Alumni student could begin, i didnt think that the relationship would go as far as it did.
any way im blabbering.. this episode was a memorable one!

This episode was one of my favourite 'Rory + Logan' moments. It's probably because it gives the hint they may end upsomething more than just friends, like, they have a spark? Yeah, i think that's how to describe it. But he isn't really nice to start with  :-\ I still love him as he became a big part of everyones life. And he's hott ;D But maybe thats just me who thinks that  :D
"Really? Which one?" - Rory
"The fat one." - Lorelai
"Come on, which one? The one on the motorcycle or the one in the sidecar?" - Rory
"See, it’s fun just talking about the Two Fat Ladies." - Lorelai

I think I saw this one a long time ago. I like the scene where they jump off at the wall with umbreallas.

Lane and Zach were too cute on their 1st date, Rory's dress was beautiful.

But I hated the rest of this episode, who's title is a quote from a film that didn't think much of.

Logan and the "Bored Trust Fund Babies" Brigade   are quite annoying, wasn't impressed at all.

Emily and Richard's treatment of Luke pissed me off.

She was downright insulting, snooty and rude, Richard tried to make into what he wanted Chris to be.

I have to admit this is one of my favorite episodes.

And guess what I found, that sure reminds me of this episode. Plus a new word involved too, I'm sure Lorelai would be all over this and possibly now updating The DragonFly be part of the new 'glamping' trend.  Here is how they define it ... "Let’s go Glamping!

Treebones is a premier Glamping resort. Glamping is defined as a luxury form of camping, blending natural experience of outdoor camping with more glamorous amenities."

I can just see Kirk lining up to work here, I bet they'd sell Hay There too ...  Yet, I also could see Liz selling her jewelry there.  This sure sounds like a mix between luxoury and hippy, so I bet all of Stars Hollow would be diggin' it.

Oh wow, Treebones looks awesome! Definitely my kind of camping. Jason's parents have what they call a 'shack' that they holiday in about an hour from civilisation on a beautiful lake. I love going up there. The fact that it has electricity, hot water, lots of food and wine makes it very appealing to me. In winter I can go and enjoy the snow, in summer I can catch fish and get burned to a crisp by the hot sun. It has no middle ground, just extremes, haha!
