When I saw this episode, it made me so sad! Not only because it finally sunk in that the series was ending, but also because Rory said no to Logan! I think it stunk that she didn't get the job at the New York times like she wanted, but that meant that she could move to California with Logan and not have anything to hold her back! She so should have accepted! They were so great together!

I totally agree, the fact that she said no in the first place was really awful. Like, logan had went to all that touble, he even asked Lorilai if it was okay by her to ask rory to marry him, and when he asked, she said, "can i talk to you outside for a minute". But the fact it was finished forever was probably the worst of it  :( I still get to see it every saturday, cause it's scotland, and we're cool and have it on E4, but it isn't the same (also, not implying scots are better than everyone else).
"Really? Which one?" - Rory
"The fat one." - Lorelai
"Come on, which one? The one on the motorcycle or the one in the sidecar?" - Rory
"See, it’s fun just talking about the Two Fat Ladies." - Lorelai

I think it's really sad that Rory says no to logan. I mean, i know that she wanted wide open options and that she wanted to be able to choose her life without limitations, but i just think that she should've said yes because she could've worked at a really good paper in San Fransisco. and also, i don't think Rory truly loved logan, cause if she did, she would've given up anything to be with him. and plus she really wasn't giving up anything yet, because there wasn't any jobs that she would've had to turn down to move there with him. idk. it's just sad, and i don't think Rory really loved him.

& also logan said he'd go where ever she went. like, he'd go with her to whever her work takes her and stuff.
also it solifites that it was the end. i have a feeling that if they had an eighth season they would have reconciled.
i have a feeling rory will regret it.

I didn't like this episode. Personally, I thought that Logan put too much pressure on Rory to marry him. If he really did love her as much as he said he did, then why couldn't he be satisfied with just having her in the first place. He should have been able to appreciate the fact that she doesn't want to get married so young, and he shouldn't have pressured her so much. This episode showed me a different side of Logan. For me it was a sad episode, because I thought Rory and Logan would be together forever. As Rory once says to Lorelai "these could be the ones".
Babbett: So this is goodbye ?
Lorelai: No this is more like a see ya later

pretty good episode, liked the scene with Rory/Paris in the Graduation line.

While Logan did end up being a decent guy, Rory made the right choice.

All the pre-planning and public proposal, dude was ASSUMING waaaaaaaaay too much that she would accept.

This was great.  It was like things were wrapping up for the series though I didn't really want it to end.

It was great for Rory and Paris to graduate and after 7 years of knowing each other.  It's amazing how close they are and Paris' hug was a surprise.

It was good that Lorelai and Christopher could still talk to each other and be friends.  In the end, it was about Rory and I think Chris is starting to get that now.  They were OK as a couple until they got married.  I think it's a relief that they can be friendly to each other.

I loved Richard and Emily's song tribute to Rory.  I thought they were really good.  It was funny as well.

Whe Luke heard Lorelai said "it didn't mean anything".  He looked so hurt and he was excited about maybe getting a chance to start things right with Lorelai.  It was like the little boy in him got all sulky and such.

Kirk in a box.  That ruled!

Logan's proposal was a shock and I could understand Rory being confused and such.  In the end, I think Rory did the right thing.  She's 22 and has a whole life ahead of her.  As great as Logan was.  He could be the one but he's about to take a huge step into his life as well.  I think in a way.  Rory saying no to the proposal is her telling Logan that now he's about to embark on his own journey.  He's going to have to do it by himself and for himself now.  I think if it wasn't for Rory.  He would still be stuck as a party boy living off his parents and forced to work under his dad and be this complete screw-up.  In the end.  Logan became a better person through Rory.  He's got a future.  Hell, I think of the boyfriends Rory had in her life.  Jess and Logan were the ones that got something out of it.  Jess is now a writer and running a publishing company and Logan is about to start an internet company that's about to take off.  If there wasn't Rory in their lives.  They still would be bad boys.

The scene with Lorelai and Luke talking about the proposal showed that despite things being good between them.  Things are still awkward over what Lorelai had said at the diner and I think both of them aren't sure what to do.  Should they just be friends or more than that?

We wait till the next episode and sadly, it will be the final episode.  Unless we can get that GG movie going.
