FABULOUS!!!!
This was a really good one. I think because things are finally winding down and everything is starting to become familiar again.
It was good of Logan to admit he screwed up and is aware that he's now facing the real world. I think that talk with Lorelai definitely eased things. After all, he's taking a chance to go on his own. Even as it is now clear that he has become a great boyfriend for Rory.
I really liked seeing Luke and April together and how they interact. I think Luke in a way, has become a better person with her and after all the drama that has happened. I think he's finally learning more about himself.
Oh Taylor, you're such an idiot. No Lemonade stands, no salty nuts and such. And he's allergic to hay.
Yet, I do think there was something metaphorical about the maze itself. Rory and Logan use each other to go on wild adventures while April uses all sorts of logic and Zach just goes with a sense of rhythm and feeling. BTW, I thought it was great to see Davey and Martha. They looked so cute.
Then there was Lorelai. The maze represented the direction of her life and how she got lost and how Luke was there for her to guide her.
Their apology scene was great. They've now admitted that they both screwed up. It took guts for Luke to admit that he unintentionally used his daughter to push Lorelai away and he was clearly sorry about it. It was good for them to just say "I'm sorry" to each other and now maybe things can be good again.
