Who wants Gilmore Girls in HD?
« on: April 19, 2007, 03:59:35 pm »
Man...I love HD, and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and there is NO CW HD here....that makes me very sad....once you have HD it's hard to switch back...

Who agrees here that Gilmore Girls Season 8 should be filmed in High Definition for some of us to enjoy more????

Thanks for taking the time :P

Unfortunately, I won't be getting HD any time soon, as it's just too expensive for the TV and the programming...

I don't understand HD at all. I can't tell the difference. I don't have HD at home, I've only seen it like once at my borther-in-law's old house, but still. I did not notice any difference at all.

Fingers crossed for the Gilmore movie!!

You may have been watching a non-HD show on an HD set.

I've watched football games where if you pause it you can read names on jerseys from overhead shots, where before you could barely even see the player - he was just a blob of color.

ooooh! I would so kill to have Gilmore Girls HD!

Its so crazy! South Africa is years (millions!) away from getting jacked up for HD, and yet in 2010 we have the Soccer World Cup coming here, and the rest of the worlds TV stations will be coming wanting to plug into an HD ready setup! HAHA! Dunno weather thats gonna happen! I laugh at our presenters, they have such bad skin and all I can think is, 'HD is gonna get ya!' Whahaha!

I have it in HD. I have Time Warner Cable. It's pretty good, I can't really see that much of a difference. But i'm blind so I have to sit right next to the TV anyway. ::)

Oh, well some channels look amazing in HD, I live near San Francisco in the Bay Area, and Gilmore girls is on the CW here, and they aren't broadcasting in HD even though I have a plan (all other shows like Heroes, American Idol, etc..... are in HD)

I desperately hope that next season it will be HD....make GG even better!

Well... I wish the Gilmore Girls{/i] DVD's were available in wide-screen format. I was disappointed when they came out that I couldn't get the episodes in wide-screen DVD.

Yeah I would prefer widescreen before HD. Personally I see HD is over rated right now. I say right now because of the limited availability. Why an I gonna pay $10 extra a month, plus buy extra cables, and pay an extra fee for a new box to get 9 channels. It's ridiculous. Cable is expensive enough as it is!

You say widescreen before HD, however you do not realize that HD is ORIGINALLY filmed in Widescreen....all HD is always widescreen plus a 10 times better picture.....you don't realize how much better it is until you get a good TV and HD....

I have seen it and I'm just not that impressed yet, sorry. And no I didn't realize that HD was originally filmed in widescreen, but I don't see what that has to do with me wanting wide screen before HD, you can have widescreen without HD.
