Hahah! Bald guy. This eppie wasn't that exciting. From the previews I thought that Lane would go into labor. Since I read spoilers I already knew about the whole Logan-Vegas thing. Although I'd imagined it turning out worse, I'm very glad it didn't. We didn't get any Paris or Michel!!! :( And no Colin and Finn :( I mean, come on! Who doesn't love a drunk aussie? I think the shower was very interesting! I wouldn't have minded going! It seemed fun! The SS Kirlue (sp?)!!! Lorelai will be the Ginger to Lulu's Mary-Ann! Emily and Richard can be the millionairs, Luke can be Skipper (Cuz we all know Kirk's a Gilligan) and maybe Rory can be the femal Professor? Lol. I would've loved to hear April's paper. But I would've liked to see Luke at Disney World with Mouse Ears more.
I will always love Rory and Logan......

I can't believe it's over.

I got interuptted by some stupid monthly inspection from the cable company and I got a black screen for about 5 minutes...

Besides that, I liked what I saw tonight. I love how Liz is able to affect Luke's thoughts, and she is getting through to him somehow. Maybe she'll push him towards reconciling with Lorelai. And wow, next episode is episode 17... and now it's only 6 more new episodes until the season finale... or perhaps the series finale.
Before I was skeptical for a season 8, but I'm thinking there can be a lot more story that can be put in to stretch the story. This episode helped me realize that.

Anyway, I hope this Luke/Lorelai stuff makes more progress in the next episode, even though it seems like we'll be seeing some Emily/Lorelai stuff. Good enough for me :D

Class, what did this episode teach us?  Always make sure you know more about the identity of your interviewer beyond the amount of hair on their heads?  If you leave work at ten and drink until three you should call your girlfriend first?  Mothers and daughters have differences but shouldn't let that get in the way of their relationship?  Always have an extra onesie?  Well, yes, all good lessons.  But, the most important thing, the lesson we can all agree on is - Never trust the promo guy.  Lane being pulled through the street because, as the evil claimed, "the baby" was coming?  Uh, no.  Also, lets not forget that it's babies.  The promo guy is evil personified.  Remember that, children.  Don't be fooled by his deceitful ways.

Now that that's out of the way, where was the shower originally supposed to held?  At Lane and Zach's?  I figured back in the spoiler thread that bedrest was the reason for the shower being held at Miss Patty's.  It was big enough for a bed and a bunch of guests. And, in case anyone wondered where the elusive Mr. Kim was, he's still under the floorboards.  Still a nice party and crazy in Stars Hollow style.

Was Rory on an official interview or just a meet and greet deal?  But, we know that this wasn't something of Mitchum's, but brought about by her connection with Hugo Grace.  If this is dropped like the job she badgered her way into, then something is wrong.  They have to say in upcoming episodes whether she got the internship.  Fellowship?

Now, on to Logan.  I'm guessing the late night drinking came after the last avenue of fixing things happened.  But, can I say I hate the idea of a lawsuit wiping out all the money of the entire Huntzberger enterprizes?  I don't know anything about that, so I don't know how realistic it is, but I can't help feel that this is a way of making Logan acceptable, and I think he's fine the way he is.  Besides, if Logan bought the company on his own, would that really be something that Mitchum could be sued for?  I wonder if Mitchum will distance himself and the rest of the business from Logan.  Or if that's possible.  They also didn't play it as bad as I thought they would.  I knew he wouldn't make it to Lane's shower, but when he came in drunk, I figured he was going to still be drunk when she came back and then he and Rory would get into a huge fight and then she'd come back to see him packed for Vegas.

I think it was supposed to be held at Lorelai's. Remember how she was at her house with Sookie decorating? There were all these balloons and decorations?
That's the only place I can think of, not 100% though.

Well said  ;)  It was supposed to be at Lorelai's they were decorating in the beginning of the show and the banner was up on her wall.  I imagine they moved it to Miss Patty's because it was closer to the apartment.

Sounded like an official interview for a fellowship.

It won’t wipe all of Huntzberger enterprises but it’ll take out a nice chunk.  An it’s entirely plausible.  I heard a story in the news of something similar, I’ll post it later.   Logan did mention that Mitchum invested money but not until this episode.

I agree that Logan could have been portrayed much worse but this still fuels the fire.

I did enjoy this episode.  It was entertaining and had the great Gilmore girls feeling back into it.  I loved all the towns people being back.  Lulu and Gyspy are alive  :)  The baby shower so so cute and I loved the picture of Rory and Lane.  I do think that Lane looks a little unrealistic size wise.  Its just too much.
Will post more on the logan/lorelai/luke stuff after I gather my thoughts.

Oh, yeah.  I forgot the scene with Lorelai decorating her house.

Well, I'm glad that the whole of the company money isn't lost (depending on how realistic the show is).  But, Logan said his dad invested?  But, I thought that Mitchum turned Logan's proposition down.  And, how would Logan be able to keep it a secret (last week, when he didn't want his dad to know the deal had gone through) if Mitchum put up money.  I can't picture Mitchum not keeping a close eye on where his money went.  Either that's something my non business like brain can't handle, or I should just go with the flow of fictional tv.

I'm seeing this as Logan taking a hit and reacting badly, but not sinking into debauchery.  He's being human.  Although, I kind of don't get that the bad reaction from Rory seems to be more towards him being with Colin and Finn, rather than where he's going.  Was he supposed to cut his two best friends out of his life completely?

You people post fast.

I didn't see that as being cold.  I think you could see how much they really love each other still.  Especially when there was that "moment" when they were just looking at each other.  Lorelai was a little awkward at first when she first saw him because she knows she still loves him.  I think when Luke said "Things change", he wasn't being cold, I think he was trying to tell Lorelai that he was trying to be a different person (maybe trying to impress her a bit???).  She said he took too long to make decisions, and I think he was trying to tell her he wouldn't be like that anymore.
