Class, what did this episode teach us? Always make sure you know more about the identity of your interviewer beyond the amount of hair on their heads? If you leave work at ten and drink until three you should call your girlfriend first? Mothers and daughters have differences but shouldn't let that get in the way of their relationship? Always have an extra onesie? Well, yes, all good lessons. But, the most important thing, the lesson we can all agree on is - Never trust the promo guy. Lane being pulled through the street because, as the evil claimed, "the baby" was coming? Uh, no. Also, lets not forget that it's babies. The promo guy is evil personified. Remember that, children. Don't be fooled by his deceitful ways.
Now that that's out of the way, where was the shower originally supposed to held? At Lane and Zach's? I figured back in the spoiler thread that bedrest was the reason for the shower being held at Miss Patty's. It was big enough for a bed and a bunch of guests. And, in case anyone wondered where the elusive Mr. Kim was, he's still under the floorboards. Still a nice party and crazy in Stars Hollow style.
Was Rory on an official interview or just a meet and greet deal? But, we know that this wasn't something of Mitchum's, but brought about by her connection with Hugo Grace. If this is dropped like the job she badgered her way into, then something is wrong. They have to say in upcoming episodes whether she got the internship. Fellowship?
Now, on to Logan. I'm guessing the late night drinking came after the last avenue of fixing things happened. But, can I say I hate the idea of a lawsuit wiping out all the money of the entire Huntzberger enterprizes? I don't know anything about that, so I don't know how realistic it is, but I can't help feel that this is a way of making Logan acceptable, and I think he's fine the way he is. Besides, if Logan bought the company on his own, would that really be something that Mitchum could be sued for? I wonder if Mitchum will distance himself and the rest of the business from Logan. Or if that's possible. They also didn't play it as bad as I thought they would. I knew he wouldn't make it to Lane's shower, but when he came in drunk, I figured he was going to still be drunk when she came back and then he and Rory would get into a huge fight and then she'd come back to see him packed for Vegas.
