I think we were robbed.  Season 8 (albeit less episodes) or even a movie, could only do this great show justice.  Luke mastered the Rory farewell, perhaps he could lend his hand to a surprise Wedding, so Lorelai has no time to think/analyse/re-think, or maybe see a more decisive Lorelai, have her finally KNOW Luke is the ONE!
A Wedding full of surprises.  We open with Lorelai walking down the aisle.  Is it a dream?  It could be.  It's not.  But to who? Luke awaits at the alter.  Then we see Rory in a mad rush to reach the Wedding, her partner to be Jess.  Old friends reunite.  And what of Logan?  The deciding vote is still out on this.  We hear the vows and the secret Lorelai has held so close, she whispers,  'Im pregnant'.  Can you imagine the debate over names. Hilarious.
At first I thought Season 7 ended as it should, with the audience to imagine for themselves what it all meant. But alas it's like starting a really good book, without an ending.  Our final chapter forever lost.  This cannot be.  Should not be.  looks like I will have to live this out through the fan fiction, a path I have travelled before as my mind will not rest until I do.  I know I'm a lost cause.

I like including the great 8 mandate graphic in it. Heidi Is it possible to put together a stationary with the great 8 mandate online with a general message and the ability to add our personal note about what we love about the show

i think we were robbed too ::pouts:: without a season 8 or even a movie we never know what happens to Lorelai, Luke, and Rory. All we can do is believe that they all ended up where they were supposed to. But how can we know that for sure without seeing it? I think that it is important to my sanity as well as any other true Gilmore fan's to have an ending.
