I am the only one that thinks a mini-series or a movie would be a horrible thing to do to this show?
I would much rather have just a partial season. That way it would feel more normal than 2 straight hours of new GG.

I don't like the idea of a mini series or movie either but I'm ready to take anything thrown at us as long as it means more Gilmore girls and both girls involved!

Agreed.  GG doesnt' really seem like a lets-do-a-movie kinda show, it's more of a slower paced drama.  But, if thats the only option......?  Anything is better than nothing.

I think it's really hard to say who could be winning at this point.  Honestly I think it's anyone's win and I don't think I would be surprised by the outcome unless a show other than Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls, or One Tree Hill wins.  Each of these fan bases has a lot of people voting like crazy, so it's really hard to say.  We just have no idea exactly how many people even know about the SOS poll, much less how many people are voting thousands of times verses just once or twice.  It could be that Gilmore Girls has 250 people each voting 700 times and that One Tree Hill has 300 people each voting 600 times.  Maybe Veronica Mars has 200 people each voting 1000 times.  Believing for a moment that that is the case, GG would have 175,000 votes, OTH 180,000, and VM 200,000.  You can change any of those variables around and have quite a gap between each place.  Very hard to predict at this point.  All we can do is hope that we have the most number of fans voting the most number of times!

First of all, What a mini - season? And Second of all, I mean a Gilmore Girls doesn't struck me as a movie kind of show, but it's better than nothing.

Just stopping by to remind you all that my nigthly 15 minute voting thing is at 7:30 EST .

A brief explanation for those of you that don't know what I'm talking about:
A bunch of us head on over to the E! Save One Show (SOS) and vote for GG as many times as we can in 15 minutes. At the end of the 15 minutes, you PM me your vote count, I'll add them all up, and PM everyone the grand total!

I have also been keeping track of the totals from every night and will be posting a grand total from all voting sessions sometime on Saturday.

**I was thinking of having a voting marathon on Friday night since that is the last day of voting. The polls close at 11:59 PST so maybe starting at 11:30 PST anyone that wants to can join me in voting nonstop for 29 minutes. If this time is too late or too early for anyone, feel fee to do your own 29 minute vote-a-thon. And as always, PM me your vote count. I'm going to vote and then go to bed (it'll be 3 AM where I live when it ends) but I'll read the PMs when I wake up and come up with the final numbers. What do you think? Would anyone be interested?

I Agree to.  Although I would much rather see a full eighth season, whatever we are given is better than nothing.
Also, if Alexis/Lauren sign, will it only be for one season?  Or will it be for more than one?

Mountain standard time is one hour ahead of Pacific Standard Time.

Lauren, he believes, is applying pressure to Alexis, because since she is now recorded as a producer, this helps her production company emmensely for future projects. In order to insure this status, GG must continue another yearI asked if it was possible for a partial year -- 11 episodes, to tie up loose ends. He said yes, it's possible. It's also possible to have Rory to make cameo appearances as well. David also mentioned that they could do a 2-hr movie or a mini-series (2, 2-hr movies) to complete GG. Do you know what, it might be pretty reliable because people that go on tours get as close to the inside scoop as you can as a fan.  And the person knew the tour guide from another tour and he seemed to know what he was talking about.  So that's really exciting, we kinda knew that Lauren really wanted to do another season and that is what Ed Herrman said in that video interview remember.  Definitely keep having to write letters to Alexis.  I think Alexis seriously owes Lauren, I am sure she has helped her alot with acting and they are so close, Alexis should do another season just because it will help Lauren production company.  And i think if Alexis agrees to a partial season, Lauren needs to live with that and do the show because it is important business wise.  Hmmm yea i don't think they would ever do a movie or mini series thing or whatever.  I wouldn't worry too much about them going that route.  This person said that they are signed on for another season, hmmm I would think that no one is really "signed on" yet, but has just agreed to another season.  We know for sure that Ed, Kelly, Liza, Scott, Vanessa and Lauren because they have told us.

Come on Alexis! We need you!  It seems like such a great place to work, and the crew loves it and the cast and she could really use this next year to finish a season 8 of GG and then as the season goes on pursue other careers or options.

Can't tell that far ahead If we are having this hard of a time trying to get them to sign for one more year, how do you think they would feel about more then one year? If we get them to sign for another season, season 8 probably would end up being the last but you never know right?
