Lauren, he believes, is applying pressure to Alexis, because since she is now recorded as a producer, this helps her production company emmensely for future projects. In order to insure this status, GG must continue another yearI asked if it was possible for a partial year -- 11 episodes, to tie up loose ends. He said yes, it's possible. This is very reliable. I think 2 2-hours films aren't as bad as no GilmoreGirls any more, but I really want a whole season 8 with 22 episodes.

Wow I didn't know Lauren was that into doing another season! I don't think the source is extrememly reliable since it was posted by a blogger but it seems like something that could be taken seriously!

I really hope Alexis signs for 22 episodes, 11 episodes or a mini series would be better then nothing but I feel that 22 episodes is needed to completely finish everything that needs to be done plus I'm going to need 22 episodes to say goodbye to Gilmore Girls!  

About the poll. No I don't think so, its just there to get people competing and to gains hits on Ausiellos site. He just wants attention Its still good to be ahead though no matter how un-important that poll is!

We have a far better chance than any other show to win this eonline poll.. gilmoregirls.org and the great 8mandate was started long before the poll and we started voting the day of, sometimes 100's times a day and since then we've all kicked it up times 1000.. so if we don't get a season 8, then there was no possibility in the beginning, since most of the actors already signed on except alexis, and they all want to do it, I don't think one person will change alot of there minds for a pay check, we're got alot of hope here and we're voting far more than any other show I believe, I mean we're 1000000 times more dedicated than the other shows fan.. We got this!  Thanks for the post about the show and all.. that gives me even more hope

I think Lauren knows how rare it is to have such a steady job in the acting business.  Which is probably why she is willing to continue with the show.

im new here, found the board a few weeks ago and love how everyone is trying to save the show together! but i have been voting on the eonline thing for a while as well. hope we can get an 8th season! im not ready to say goodbye to the girls yet!
