so excited! and since the flower thing seems like it might not work, you should include a bunch of fake yellow daisies in the big envelope with all the pictures
1) I think sending a bunch of paper daisies is a
great idea as an alternative to real daisies or alongside real daisies. Maybe someone can come up with a template for 'em?
2) As for real daisies, try FTD.com or 1-800-SEND-FTD for the FTD network of local florists. The cheapest arrangement of daisies that I saw was $40 -- but that was for an arrangement. But I'm thinking that there may be a way to work out a deal that includes something -- less expensive in the way of pottery or something, I dunno. I'm not so good with the flowers. (I am a Kirk in need of a Lorelai to give me dating tips just after she turns me down. Well, that and I'm a Kirk in need of a Lorelai, BID.) Also, I would think that someone might be able to swing a deal with FTD with, say, the Mandate button and, like, some discount code, but I suppose it would depend on the discount and whether flowers could be sent with, like, less of the pottery that increases the prices, just basic pots, whatever.
I personally would rather send real daisies if it could work out (I think everyone that can afford to should probably send one of FTD's Daisy Sunburst Bouquets (one comes in a glass vase, one comes in cute pastel green earthenware vase (that's the one I'd pick.) The URLs are too long to pick here (at least, with my computer lack-of-knowhow), but go to FTD and just search for Daisies and they'll be there in the top row, at $39.99 each.
3) I think that any and all flowers, real or paper (or both) and any and all correspondence should be addressed to LG and AB directly through the show (ie: c/o the Warner Studio address), not through their agents, which might just make them think we're err, slightly toooooooo Kirk-ish. If this stuff goes to them directly through the show, it'll get to them, it'll flood the Warner Mailroom, it'll give the campaign focus. Entertainment Weekly (among other magazines and websites) say that it's all down to Lauren and Alexis, so that's IMO where the campaign should go -- directly to Lauren and Alexis, not to Ellen (yeah, I know, Lauren's been on Ellen's show a lot, but still . . .). I know that the saying goes that it couldn't hurt to go through other channels, but at this point, I think we gotta let Lauren and Alexis know directly that we still want them. Or, well, for Kirk-like me, at least Lauren.
