I agree, ObessedwithGG! Anything is possible and it's up to us to make sure that her mind isn't set in stone yet...to show her that we support her and want her to sign on...just one more season would be so wonderful! I'm sure there are people out there just writing things to try and discourage people from standing strong on their position for a season 8 and we can't let them win the battle!

Congratulations everyone! Great job! We one because 1) we found out VM voters were cheating and we stepped up our voting 2) when we heard about the 3rd place show going to first instead of saying: "That's us!" we said: "That COULD be us but if it's not then we need to kick this up a notch"

The reason why Kristin made the announcement so early because it was very clear who the winners were right away.

Those clues could point to any show.. SP is not the only baseball player out there on a tv show.. i wouldn't read too much into it.. and mostly since its coming from ausiello.. and he likes to play with our heads.. so... anyways.. i don't know how the voting works on the tvguide poll.. b/c i voted like 300 times by refreshing the page each time.. and the % stayed the exact same.. so.. i dunno..

OMG!!!!! I am so so so so proud of everyone!  I am so proud to call myself a Gilmore Girls Fan because of the other people on this forum and am proud to associate myself with you guys!  Ahhhh so exciting!

People are bad mouthing the show because they are JEALOUS!, jealous because we won the poll, do you know what, they didn't work hard enough, they didn't put enough heart into it and it is totally 100% their fault that their show didn't win, they should have worked harder.  We informed every fan of GG on the internet about the poll and they are just embarrassed that they didn't win.  If we lost, we wouldn't be complaining about how that show didn't deserve to be on the list, we would be taking the loss classily.  VM fans shouldn't be so upset, being that close still could affect the show, they should still try to be more optimistic.  WE WON!  I am practically crying!

About the Ausiello blind item thing, it is not Scott Patterson because we have talked to Vanessa and she said that Scott definitely wants another season and she sees him almost everyday.  When Britney went to the set, she said that Scott wanted another season and supported us.  I don't think it's Scott, Ausiello has put quite a few blind items in there that seem like a GG one, but that is just to throw you off.  I think it is the man playing Veronica's dad that is looking for work and saying the show is over.  And even if Scott has movies lined up, he can do movies at the same time, Lauren and Alexis did.  Michael always includes words that throw you off.

Great job!!! Ahhh so so excited and we won! Even if the results weren't finalized or whatever, those results had to be somewhat true, like some of the other lower shows will probably go up more percents on next friday's official results.

Oh and keep voting on Ausiello's poll because, even though its not going to have a big impact, we should try and win that one too, just to show everyone what a "fan" really is!

Strange, I had saved the poll page in my favorites section from the other night and the poll voting is still there. I voted a couple of times and it went through. Could someone e-mail Kristin and let her know this so it doesn't affect the outcome in a negative way. Thanks!

Yeah, we already recognized that and also discussed if we should go on with the voting or not. But since someone involved with E!Online stated that no votes after midnight count, we stopped voting there. Some of us - and I think many other fans too - already wrote e-mails to kristin about that. Although I don't think that she is going to answer all the mails.
So, now it's just waiting to the official results together we some comment from Kristin

Okay, I was just feeling very uneasy about the whole results thing and how vendictive some of the VM fans are so I didn't want it to make an impact. I only voted twice because I wanted to see why it was still there. I hope nothing goes wrong.

BTW I am totally in with the whole sending books to Alexis or her cause thing. Would someone PM me the info on that I would like to participate but I have very little time in the day to sit down. Thanks!

I realize that we weren't going to concentrate on the Ausiello poll, but GG is now at 47% and I think that VM are voting alot for this one out of rage and I think that we need to really vote alot on the Ausiello poll.  Not so dedicated like for the SOS one, but we need to give it some attention because we did get it up from like 25% or something and we need to show VM fans and Ausiello that we can win both polls.  So don't forget about http://www.tvguide.com/News-Views/Columnists/Ausiello.aspx  I would hate to see us lose this one by alot, when we know that we could keep it close!

i keep trying to find my last post, but i can't seem to do so. i've only posted once *yesterday* so far because i'm having a little trouble with this site, and learning how to use it

but i wanted to thank the people who responded to my first post with their comments - also, i guess by reading the past few posts, i realize we really DID win, and its because VM fans were cheating? i didnt realize there was a cheating, i guess it was the same idea i had, with the script with repeated votes for you - but i didnt know it was cheating, if it is, so i do apologize, and if it isn't cheating, then i say we figure it out to help out the Aussie poll!

Okay, so I really love the whole thing going on here and I was wondering if I could spread the first post around on another forum. I would just link to it, but the forum strictly forbids linking to other forums, so I was just gonna make a post saying that I got this from another forum and put the first post on it.

If not that's cool, I just wanted to ask before I went ahead and did it. 

Oh and I thinks it's 10 shades of awesome that even though like every comment on the SOS page was about how people had to save VM, yet GG came out as the winner. I am so proud to be a Gilmore Girls fan.

i just read this on the first page: "A season 8 decision will be made public no later than May 17th (as that's when the network announces its fall schedule at the upfront in New York)" that would be awful cause i can't wait till may 17th AND this is my 18th birthday!!! it would be so horrible if they announce the ending of gg at that date!

Thats the Ausiello poll. We need to win this as well, because the VM fans are angry about losing the SOS poll. If we win this, it shows major dedication to beat a HUGE group of raging fans.
