One of the things I miss about the old forum was all the different icons you could use.  Will that be coming down the road or was adding extra icons just a feature of the other forum program?

Very cool!  I'm glad people are talking about the new features, because I didn't realize you could insert quotes from other posts that were listed under the "post reply" input screen.  That will save a LOT of time for me.  The calendar function is great, although it's going to take a while to remember to click on it when I visit the forum to see what's up. 

Who has authority to make calendar entries?  I was wondering if anyone was going to add the premier of the Season 6 episodes with episode titles on it, as well as the actors birthdays and other things like DVD release dates?

Heidi, I had  a problem with my computer the other day when I was trying to reply to a message, my Anti-Hacker system went off, and I tried to erase it, but my whole computer froze.  My Anti-Hacker system said it was an Hellkam attack, I don't know if that means anything to you or not.  Just thought you'd want to know.

I sorry if this is a stupid question (yes there is such a thing)  but what happened to the "old board"?

The old forum was hacked by a (couple of) hacker(s) in attempts to cause the most havoc in order to win a hacking contest. They were successful in breaching the forum security so Heidi had to switch to a different forum base(the one we're using now). Sick yes, but truth also.
