As nobody answers in the "book"-thread I'm trying here again, I hope this is the right thread and the question is new (couldn't find it): Have you heard about this book: Coffee at Luke's: An Unauthorized Gilmore Girls Gabfest by Jennifer Crusie? It should come out this spring, but I'm not sure, what kind of book it is? Is she writing kind of a sequel? Before we are sure there is no 8th season? And - what is a "gabfest"? Couldn't find it in any dictionary? I'm confused.... Thank you! Regards, Billie It's on amazon- a collection of essays and articles on the show gab is a slang word for talk so gabfest is like saying conversation or chatter Oh my gad, I am so buying this book!

Thank you so much for the explanation, gilmoreren!! OK, seems I have to have this book... Just hope they will have it available at the european amazon since buying at amazon.com (like I did for my GG-DVD-boxes) means always a huge amount of money for that stupid customs duty.... Regards from Vienna (for the second time snow in this whole winter yesterday...!) Billie

Sorry, little off-topic, but if you want to lough: Go to this link ( http://www.angusrobertson.com.au/products/detailed.asp?bookid=9781933771175&db=au) and try to get information for the shipping cost to Austria.... You can select "Austria" in the field of "destination country" as often as you like - you will always get the shipping fees for AustrALia......!!!!! : : : : : : : : : : Thought this was an old joke in my school-english-book ("Where are you from?" "I'am from Austria." "Oh, yes, kangaroos...."), but oviously you can still have it.... Special regards to all the Australian GG-fans here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Billie

I LOVED the Baby-Sitters Club books. I would beg my parents to buy the new book when it came out! And I read the little sister ones too. I kinda miss the BSC.

Does anyone remember the Point Horrors? I used to read them for kicks.
And whose first 'naughty' book was Judy Blume's Forever?
As we're talking who-reads-what is anyone into Georgette Heyer or Julia Quinn?
