ACTUALLY, i DID read the Messenger. I really liked it. I really wnated a 2nd gver, so, it didnt let me down like the end of the giver, Poor jonas and baby gabriel. I really DISLIKE the way Lois Lowry ends books and starts them. The first 7 or so chapters are SOOO boring, but the rest are suspenceful!! I really would like her to make a series, or continue on her books, all of them, hopefuly. Anyways, chat with you guys l8er. Bye

I just barely picked up the Messenger today, I thought it had barely come out and I find it in paperback!!   Man what rock have I been living under? (rhetorical, please don't answer that one folks..)  I usually read her books in like a day, they normal suck me in quickly...though I really should re-read The Giver.  It's been like forever since I read it and since I read it so fast, I don't remember that much of it.  WHen someone pointed out to me that it's all in black & white, I was like WHAT?  Must re-read it!

I LOVE The Messenger, I read it a year ago, it's great.

Only read this if you're positive you wont get scared: In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, has anyone read that besides me? It's teriffying, but it's really really good.

I thought about reading it. My mum has it, in english even. And she told me that it is really good. But then I thought that it might depress me. It must be really brutal.

He's just really graphic when he talks about the murders, I had nightmares for a week. Then I saw the movie Capote and got even more scared, cause they show it to you there.

The Princess Diaries series is good, I was so mad when they ripped them off so badly in the movies.

Another good one is The Secret Life of Bees. It has nothing to do with bees though, just fyi

Oooh!  I agree Kelso -- The Princess Dairies and wonderful!  Meg Cabot is a beautiful author and has many great books, for both teens and adults.  Great stuff!

Yeah, Meg Cabot's books are great.  THey are all quick reads, but I still enjoy them.

Okay if the book isn't about Bees, what is it about then?  Give me a little spoiler please!
