I luv your pic jen748! Its bloody brilliant!  :D but yes Sarah Dessen's book The Truth about Forever is one of her better books. And hey has anyone heard anything from C lately? I think the boy has abandoned us.

I got my book in the mail on Friday! WOO HOO! I'm so excited. How far are we supposed to have read by now? I'm hoping I can catch up. I'm reading two books at the same time now.  :D

Ok everyone calm down  :D the way im lookin at it C hasnt been on so im gonna say we have a discussion on the first 6 letters in about a week or two cause everyone is very busy with end of summer/ begining of school. U r welcome to read ahead if you like but that is our goal for now. So take ur time reading and enjoy the book i dont want anyone to rush through and it and not get the full feel of the book.  :) OH! and hey plz PM me ideas for name suggestions for the book club thread & and for discussion topics for the book!

Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Life just got all crazy busy on me, work and personal life just got so MAD!!! Also got a little bit of Olympic fever so I was caught up in all the buzz there!!! :D
Okay, so I am in discussions with Berkley for topics of discussion and then we'll get going ASAP!!!

hey chris! haven't talked to you in a while. and i still havent gotten it yet. grrrrr. i'm at my grandparents house and will be here until sunday. then sunday and monday the library's closed. maybe i'll see if they have it at my school library

Its goin ok and yes I know its depressing bout how this thread has died a bit latley but everyone is waiting to hear bout the Book Club thread so they really are just reading and waiting. We don't want to start a discussion without our board first. Am I correct?

Yeah basically, we're waiting for our own thread... I PM'd Caryn, with no response yet, so I'm waiting in terms of that.
But I did ask what people thought of Lady Susan... and I didn't mean the whole book...
I meant in terms, of how she tells one person one thing and then says the exact opposite to someone else... seems a little back stabbish and self centered to me... So wotz everyone else think?! We may as well start discussing it here, coz who knows when we'll get a thread?! Not a train smash to use this thread...

Well it sounds like she is a bit hypocritical to me I mean the changing of her opinions and wording is just questionable in the first place. But yes lets start this convo here cause we might as well or as C says " Not a train smash to use this thread..."
