oh yeah i heard about that earthquake! was it really scary?
I've lived in Southern California my whole life, so I'm fairly used to earthquakes (whatever that means). However, there hasn't been a big quake in my area in quite some time so during the shaking I started to wonder, "Is this
The Big One?" A lot of the people I work with are from other parts of the U.S. and hadn't been in an earthquake before. They had no idea what as going on. One guy even tossed his cookies, if you know what I mean.
4 - Where did you decide to go for dinner tonight? Some place fun I hope!! Enjoy your weekend!
We went to Red Lobster. Seafood salad + Cheddar Bay biscuits = for the win. I have some friends who
cannot stand Red Lobster and others who, like me, love it. I'm sure Hollywood and Los Angeles are home to some of the best restaurants in the world, but I love me some Red Lobster. Interestingly enough, there really isn't even a Red Lobster local to Hollywood or Los Angeles. You have to drive about 30 minutes out for the nearest one. Dedication.
3. I would like to predict a White Sox (who just picked up Ken Griffey Jr. making the rest of the baseball season heavenly in my neck of the woods) vs. Dodgers (no better addition I can think of than Manny Ramierez, amazing!) World Series 2008.
I would totally support that.

Carlos Quentin hit the homerun ball I caught in 2006 (when he was still with Arizona). The trade to Chicago has done him well. His 28 homers puts him 4th in the entire league. Dodgers vs. White Sox, bring it!
Ohmigosh (I know this is old) but that quake was indeed very freaky. I thought for sure "this is 'the one.'" Thankfully it wasn't. But still!
I have some friends who honestly want to get The Big One over with. They can't stand wondering if it's going to happen five minutes from now, five years from now, or fifty years from now.
ORG Reunion information coming late tonight or tomorrow afternoon. It depends how late tonight's Dodgers game goes. Good times, my friends. Good times.
