I love the new poll! I picked Christmas Eve, because that's when we do it... I wished it was the last one though, would be funny  ;D

Thanks sis (Katinka a.k.a Snowy_Duerre)

Eeeeeeee Christmas!

I voted for Christmas Eve. I don't know, it could be any of these! I'm terrible at these polls so hopefully I'll get one right soon *crosses fingers*

The last choice made me laugh  :D  But what if the present was something for your liquid diet  ;)

Hehehe "Presents?! I'm on a liquid diet" made me laugh out loud! Awesomme awesome ;).

This poll really is a thinker.. I have no clue since all the choice are traditions for everyone, so I'll give myself some time to think about it before voting.

Speaking of Christmas, I was at the mall today and wasn't too surprsied to see that Holiday decorations were already up AND Santa was already set up and taking pictures with kids! Crazy.. plus the Christmas music throughout the stores really made it feel like it was December.

Me too!! It was hilarious!! :P

And you're right, Kami...this one is a thinker. I have to pause for this poll and come back. Though, over thinking might not be good either. I don't know what there is to think about really, nothing factual, like that you can look up or research. I just have to get into 'Heidi mode' I think! haha!

I just wanted to remind people that the 2nd Annual GG.org Secret Santa has begun and we need more participants! Please feel free to stop by and check it out! We'd love to have you join us! It will be a blast! So, get into the holiday spirit with us! :santa:

I'm still on that liquid diet comment...alright, I have to get a grip!! :P

Presents?! I'm on a liquid diet.

LOL!!!!!!! Of course, we all LOVE to eat presents. Bob the Builder's the best kind. Hahahah, cracks me up.

I picked Christmas Night.

Kami- I know! The Christmas stuff is coming early this year. It seems that they're skipping Thanksgiving and going RIGHT into Christmas. Do they not care about the pilgrims? It's pilgrims right? I'm getting so old that I don't remember our american history. :(

Don't worry, I'm not forgetting. :) Bye bye, ORG.

Don't forget the Native Americans...we stole their land but we can't forget about their part in Thanksgiving!  :D

I am going to say Christmas Day Morning is when she opens the presents.  That seems logical.  I never understood opening them on Christmas Eve.  Then what do you have to look forward to in the morning?  That is one of the best parts of Christmas.  Listening for the reindeer on the roof, not being able to sleep from excitement, having your sister come into your room at 5:30 in the morning and jump up and down in excitement to open her gifts...yes, even though my sister is 30 she still does this when we are at my parents house for Christmas.  Then we all get up..and I take my time in the shower to annoy everyone else who is waiting for me.  I shave, dry my hair, get dressed, etc.  It is funny to hear them all yelling at me to hurry up!  Then we open presents, have coffee, and enjoy the rest of our day with each other.  I am looking forward to it!

This is totally out of left field, but are there any quidelines on this site about how big signatures should be?  Some of them are getting enormous and quite frankly, annoying.  I am too lazy to look, and its not up to me to enforce it, but what does everyone else think?  Some of these sigs are just soooo huge now.  Ugh, thanks for letting me vent!

I was wondering that. I'm sure there used to be, w hen I first joined, like  a year and a half ago, someone pm'd me and told me my sig was too big, it was nowhere near as big on the double sigs people have these days.  I wanted to say something, but I thought maybe that rule was abolished

I bet you'll get a scholarship to Yale. :)

I forgot the sig size... I don't really know it, but I can tell if a sig is too big or too small. Even if we could limit the size, most people don't bother to listen. Especially the big glittery kind that slow my computer down. :(

YAY! I'm getting the series DVD set for Christmas! How cool is THAT?! But I gotta wait an entire MONTH. Torture me, will ya?

Yep there is a regulations for sigs.  It should only be 500 x 200 and just one sig, not two or three.

Heidi is this something you have time to address, or would you object to myself or other members making friendly reminders?

BTW Love this poll and have put forward my vote.  Hope I finally get one right.  I love the holiday season and all the joy it brings and I agree with you Rupe about the whole Christmas morning thing.  That's the exciting part about waking up.  Which makes me think this would be a good time to remind people about out Org Secret Santa project.  Check out the thread in the general board, or easier still click on the link in my  sig. ;D

I also agree with the Rupe-meister and Caryn Butterfly that Christmas morning is the only way to fly.   :)  :santa:  Rupe, your sister sounds like a cool girl to keep that excitement alive.  I think I would get along with her because my family makes fun of me for getting so excited about holidays and especially opening presents. :gift:  (but only because I can't wait for everyone to see what I got for them!)

As for Secret Santas, I hear that it brings holiday joy all across ORG-land to all of those who participate.   8)

I'd been wondering about this myself...if it's okay to make gentle reminders on the size, or perhaps having two. It makes it harder to scroll through the posts on a page. Please advise! :) (That sounds so formal! HA!)

I heard that too, Shell! Secret :santa: participation would make this ORG'er a very happy gal! Can't wait to see how things unfold! Thanks, Heidi for allowing us to hold this 'event' here!

As for the poll, I had better just make a decision and vote! haha! I want to get one right too. I don't think I've guessed right in awhile...if ever! Hmmmmm...
