Question: Which of the following items cannot be found in my office at work?

Stuffed teddy bear - 4 (16.7%)
Glowsticks - 0 (0%)
Brownies from Christmas - 5 (20.8%)
Saturday Night Live coffee mug - 4 (16.7%)
Jack in the Box antenna ball - 5 (20.8%)
Stop eating already!  Liquid diet for you! - 2 (8.3%)

Total Votes: 24

Congrats to those who got it right!  Where to start with this one ...

It's true, I do have a giant unicorn balloon in my office.  It's long been deflated, but has since been pinned to the wall.  My co-workers and I are a little obsessed with Planet Unicorn (try a YouTube search) and when we threw a company party last year we thought a unicorn balloon would be quite snazzy.  It was.  ;)

My office is also home to a stuffed teddy bear.  I'm not even sure how it ended up in my office because it's technically not mine.  I have a co-worker who works in northern California, but flies into Hollywood a few times a month.  When he stays at a local hotel they always give him a bear and it has since been placed in my office.

The glowsticks were a gift from a co-worker.  I think I've mentioned here before how I like things that glow ... flashlights, glowsticks, etc.

Sad, but oh so true ... there are indeed brownies from Christmas on my desk ... safely locked away inside a Christmas tin so that no one dies from mold or some such thing.  I have no idea why they weren't eaten or why I leave them in there.  Now it's just funny.

I love Saturday Night Live; hence the coffee mug.

Sorry, no Jack in the Box antenna balls to be found.

The end!  Thanks to all who played.

Dammit! I was wrong. I should of thought that you'd have the brownies hidden safe to prevent them from going bad. I kind of did the same thing with the Tim Tam's I received from Caryn during Secret Santa.. they lasted till about March. Sadly now, they are all gone.

As a side note, I don't know how you couldn't of eaten the brownies! They are my favorite junk food and I would of finished them off ages ago. ;)

Woohoo for 15,000 members!

Heidi: You ought to be ashamed of yourself!  You call yourself a woman!  I'm shocked  :o  :o  :o.  Seriously, what self respecting female still has chocolate anything left over from Christmas.  What is not shocking however is that I again got a poll wrong.

And for all those that have yet to check out Planet Unicorn on youtube, do yourself and favour and get to it!   Funny, funny stuff and I can guarantee you that you'll be singing the theme song for days later.  Planet Unicorn Heyyy!

Kami:   Having Tim Tams last that long is also a crime against all women.  It's unheard of!! ;)  Now as your punishment I dare you to try just a smidge of Vegemite ;D.

I did a report on New Zealand in high school and passed Vegemite around the classroom as a prop ... by the time it got back to me it was empty.   ::)

Eeew Vegemite is disgusting, Helen eats it,t he wierdo.

I still don't recall what I chose!! I may have gotten it right. Possibly, but then I don't really recall. I hate that my memory doesn't last as long as a poll!!!

As for Tim Tams, they have these new Tim Tams crunch thingies. They're so yum.

I was thinking ... wouldn't it be fun if we planned an 'ORG Reunion' day this summer?

GilmoreGirls.org has been online for over seven years, so it's inevitable that some of our friends and fellow ORG Forumers don't visit the site quite as much as they used to.  That's life ... people get busy, interests change, etc., etc.

However, I thought it might be nice to try and get the gang back together for one day.  We'd plan well in advance to get the word out, organization would be key, we could come up with trivia and/or games to play, and hopefully a good time would be had by all.

Yay?  Nay?  Thoughts?  Complaints?  ;)

I vote yay.

But what sorts of games can be played by many individuals on a forum? I'm not quite sure where to go with that one. But the idea in theory, I think, is good.

I vote a big, huge YAY:celebrate:
Sounds like a great idea and I'm available to help organize if needed.  Plus I have a few members I would like to see back - even if just for awhile.
Good thinking.

Ohmigosh, the first members that I thought of while reading your idea was our Germans, whom I miss. :( Plus there are so many more of us who I haven't seen around here in so long. I'm down!
