Hello my loves!

I had a great night last night! I went out with the guy I'm seeing and we went to see Sweeney Todd. It was very interesting. No doubt something you would expect from Tim Burton and Johnny Depp. It's very graphic and dark, which I loved because that's just my cup of tea. It was almost like a semi Harry Potter cast because Helena Bonham Carter and Alan Rickman starred in it. I think Helena is so awesome and definitely my favorite Death Eater in the HP series. She fit the role in Sweeney Todd perfectly. We both enjoyed it a lot. The movie didn't end till a little past 10 and then we hung out, talked "and stuff" for 3 hours. I'm going to miss him when I'm in Colorado for 3 weeks.. I told him than and he said "absense makes the heart grow fonder." Hehe. Of course when I planned my CO trip months ago I had no idea what was going to happen between us. We might see eachother tomorrow, yay!

Anyways, my catch up comments:

Sooks, coolness about having a friend who will be working at Disneyland! The guy I'm seeing also knows someone who starts working at DL in January. I've already dropped hints about us going since he'll be able to get in for free and I have an annual pass. I know exactly what kind of Cast Member you're talking about that he will be. What's his name??

Brenda, yup yup lip action at the cliffs! Oh, I finally noted the kind of car he has. It's a Mazda 3 and its black on black. Hahahaha a singing rose sounded like Jigsaw?? That made me burst out laughing when I read that. That doesn't sound very romantic, LOL.

Woot Janich for posting the California flag! Represent! I'm going to make you blush some more.. you are too cute, really.

Kate, wow I'm so sorry about Helen's dad. Of course now since he passed on he won't have to live with the pain of being sick, but that's also depressing. I had a friend who passed away in April. She was only 18 but had been sick for some time. She was always in and out of the hospital. Give Helen a lot of comfort from me. I can also understand how hard it is to comfort someone who's in a situation like that. I wish I was better and that kind of stuff.

Grrr, I always get annoyed with myself when I don't stop by the ORG for half a day because then I miss so much in that time. I hate procrastinating. Must catch up with what I've missed!

Kate- I'm so sorry about Helen's dad. I understand what you are going through, at least to a degree. My best friend's mom passed away this summer, and I understand what you are saying. For me, the worst part was figuring out something to say to her. Most of the time we didn't talk, and later she told me that my company was what she needed most. My condolences (sp) to Helen and her family.

The hardest thing is that now she keeps saying she wants her Mommy (If ya didn't know, her Mom committed suicide last year). I hate knowing there's nthing I can say or do to make it easier.

~Kate~ Yes, that makes it hard, when you want so much to make everything better for someone you love. I wish you and Helen comfort in this time of pain and sadness. Remember, what doesn't break us, only makes us stronger. (Or something to that degree)

~Kami~ His name is Carlos. He's started working already I think. I hope to get out that way sometime this coming year, so I'll have to go to Disneyland. I haven't been there since I was very young and I'd visit my grandparents out there when they'd have their winter home in California. I want to see LA again now that I'm older and of course, Hollywood. I'd so be the typical tourist unfortunately. I have a few people I'd like to look up while out there too! haha! How is the guy that you're seeing, by the way! I'm glad that you got to see a movie together...Sweeny Todd is a great musical and I can't wait to see the movie. I never knew dark was your cup of tea?! How interesting!

Alright, I'm off to bed! I hope the weekend's going well for everyone. It's freezing in here! I'm so done with winter...already!

Im going through the boring motions of an 8 hour shift. Is it just me or does it go slower if you have something to look forward to? I dont care if science says otherwise, I believe time is relative.

Tonight...I really dont know what I will be doing, watching the carols at home with my family I guess. I am really starting to miss Jason, lol, he has only been gone since Saturday morning but we havent spent this long apart since I went on holidays in August!

I cant wait until tomorrow, I am so excited for presents!

I'm just messing around online tonight, watching the football game half-assed, and just hanging out before work tomorrow. Who else works tomorrow? Christmas Eve is upon us. I guess I should really get into the Christmas spirit huh? It's hard this year for some reason. I'm such a scrooge when it comes to celebrating holidays. I don't know what my problem is.

I'm off to go clean a bit and organize my books. I really should try to sell some, there's so many and some I know I'll never go back and read again.

I'm not really in the christmas spirit either, as you can imagine. Between being utterly flat broke, my family being in a mess, and a completely heartbroken girlfriend, it's kinda hard to care about whether or not 'santa' is going to bring me what I want.
I kept giving discounts to people at work though, I'm probably gonna get in trouble, but hey, it's Christmas in 8 hours!!

I still get scared that I will get busted when I sneak people on the golf course at 'family rate' when they arent my family, they are friends of friends that I dont even know and I have to chat to them like I know them, heheh!!!

Its understandable that christmas may be a bit of a flop for you this year and sadly it will always be an anniversary for Helen but I hope you are able to find some joy in the holiday! Even if its just employee of the month because the customers all suddenly develop some love for you!

Ok, let me fill you in.

I work at a Golf Resort, have done so for four years now. I started out as a switch board operator and then hotel reservations and I crossed over to golf about two years ago. I work in the office doing larger golf events and sales and marketing. Not at all glamorous, my office is underground night next to the big garage where they store the golf carts. The people are fun though and I have perfected that 'I understand your pathetic drama and am truelly concerned for your happiness' tone of voice that you need to use when talking to disgruntled members, hehe, they all love me!

We have an employee of the quarter and an employee of the year, its kind of embarrasing really because I have won both and I get the guilts up thinking of how much time I spend playing on the forum with Kate instead of working!
