Doyle McMaster / Danny Strong Appreciation

I searched but I did not see a thread for Doyle. I'm sorry if there is no need for this...I just thought it would be a good idea.

Doyle is so funny and awesome. We first met him as Yale newspaper editor, now we know him as Paris's boyfriend. We won't let him stand in Paris's shadow. You knew he and Paris were going to start something at that speed dating session. My favorite moment would have to be when he wore Rory's coat while he was trying to get Paris back and he all mad when the door was unlocked  . So sit back, relax, and reminisce about and share your favorite Doyle moments. Show Doyle some love! Enjoy!

You have to respect a guy who can hold the interest of Paris Geller for more than five minutes! I am a devout Doyle fan.

I met Danny Strong at a Buffy themed convention two years ago. He was very nice to his fans. He sat with a group of us in a lounge for a while. I am almost positive I asked him how it was working on the Gilmore Girls. Unfortunately I can't remember his answer.

Ah Doyle. Annoying as can be, yet, every time he is on the screen a smile creeps onto my face. A silly, cheesy, laugh-out-loud kind of moment.    And, if Paris can stand him and visa versa, then everyone should at least give him a shot. I gave him one, and I think he is one of the greatest supporting actors.

One of my favorite scenes with Doyle is when he and Paris had broken up and he was at the bar when Rory came in after having a fight with Logan. I dunno though if Rorys coat was his color though.

Hamish/George/God/Clooney/Geamish etc.:  We really need to talk sometime.  So a Jonathon/Buffy fan or were you there for some other reason I am yet to think of ?

Doyle’s character is sesnsational.  As I am yet to see season six, I’m not yet aware of how prevalent he is in it.  But I hope he is a character that sticks around because I love him.  I love him with Paris though, she sets up a lot of his great moments I think, so I hope they are still together (please don’t answer this, my dvd’s are on the way from the US as we speak!!)

Wait...Ok I wasnt a huge Buffy fan but I did watch the show some times and I know the basics...had no idea Doyle was in it, lol.

As much as Doyle shits me because hes a whiny little girl ('Oooh, I dont want strawbery frozen yoghurt with lumps because I am a baby') I really do like what his character brings to the show. He is an interesting character for Paris to but heads with, I like it when she has someone strong enough to play two way mind games with

I dont really know what my view on Doyle is. That was funny though when he and Rory got drunk as hell together.

I just want to say happy B-day to Danny Strong who turned 34 today (via Mountain time) and congrats to the success of Recount that he wrote and is getting fabulous reviews.

That is a great point! It's amazing that she was interested in him till the end.

I think he is a great guy. Kind of goofy but so what. His best moment is in season 7 when he didn't let go of Paris and offered to alter his life for her. He was really romantic. He knew what kind of girl he has and that he won't find anyone like her (i think we all agree to that!  ). If you think about it, they had the best relationship next to Sookie and Jackson. I also like their self- defense moves. They're scary. I pity any fool who try to steal from them.
