Wow, where do you work??
Well, dinner's like, the evening meal, but supper is like, a light snack later on, before bed.

I work for a company called Luma Animation! We do 3D Animation, TV Ads etc!! :D
Hehe! Thats exactly how I see it. A friend of mine would always get so confused.. coz I would say I gotta get home for Dinner and she would think... 'proper table set, with candles and 3 courses', where as supper for her was, 'grab whatever her mom had made, and go watch TV sorta thing!'
To me, they are more interchangable.. dinner, supper... the evening meal! LOL!!! ;D

Sounds cool!
Nah, it's more about the time you have it. It's dinner if it's like between 5-8pm, but it's supper if you've already had dinner, and you're having a snack at like 9 or 10pm.

New to the boards :D
I'm Leigh, and I was told about Gilmore Girls through a coworker. She is convinced that the show was based on my daughter and I :P We just started watching Gilmore Girls this summer and already we are both ADDICTS. Anyone on?

Hi Leigh. I am glad you're enjoying Gilmore Girls. It's really cool that you and your daughter are like Lorelai and Rory. You watch the show and you think it's pure fiction but it's nice to know that kind of relationship exist in real life!  :)

Exactly! I love watching the show for the story, but I also like learning from it.

Heya Leigh, nice to meet ya, I'm Kate!!
Speaking of basing the show on people, I read that Holly Marie Combs (Piper from Charmed), her Mother is called Lorelai, (but spelt differently), and had her when she was 16.

I agree with Sidney, it's good to know of a real life Lorelai & Rory relationship.  :)

Yeah, it would be great if there were more Lorelai/Rory relationships in the world. It would make the world a peaceful place or more fun at least!  ;)

Talking about Charmed, i read the same thing. I also heard that her mother was very supportive when Holly said she wanted to be an actress as a child and did eveything she could to help her. I am glad she did!

That is a remarkable coincidence about the Charmed actress, right down to the age and name of her mom. I mean, it's not as though Lorelai is a super-common name.

I think Lorelai's name is soon going to be common. First Richard names Lorelai after his mother "the first Lorelai" then Lorelai the second names "Rory" Lorelai the third and i am pretty sure Rory is going to name her daughter "Lorelai the Fourth". And every guy Rory broke his heart is going to name his kid "Lorelai", i think Dean is the one who started that!  ;) Is that too crazy?!  8)

Besides there are a lot of GG fans out there who grew to love the name!

Wow, you've got the whole line of Lorelais worked out. Imagine if Rory named her daughter Emily! Lorelai the Second would drop dead on the spot. I can easily believe Dean would name his daughter Lorelai, not only for Rory but for Lorelai the Second as well. Dean was a bit too chummy with Lorelai at times. I can't imagine Jess naming his daughter Lorelai. He ought to be pissed at Rory after their final encounter in Philly and he always had major issues with Lorelai.

If Jess named his daughter "Lorelai", Lorelai the Second would drop dead again! Well, she will rise from her grave after "the Emily thing" and see Jess with Lorelai the Sixth and drop dead again! I wonder how many times she can die?  :o
