3.13 - Dear Emily and Richard

Summary: When Sherry (Madchen Amick) goes into labor and asks Rory (Alexis Bledel) to be with her at the hospital, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) is reminded of the day Rory was born. Flashbacks tell the story of 16-year-old Lorelai (guest star Chelsea Brumnet) as she learns she is pregnant, decides not to marry Christopher (guest star Phillip Glenn Van Dyke), and ultimately leaves home with her new baby.

this is one of my favorite episodes because they show those flashbacks. it was great. i thought chelsea brummet was a perfect young lorelai and phillip van dyke a perfect young christopher

This episode could have been so much better! Chelsea Brumnet might look like she could be the young Lorelai, but she is definatley not a good enough actress to play that character. And the guy who played Christopher really bothered me. He looked NOTHING like the older Christopher and was a terrible actor! That's just my opinion though!

are you kidding me!? that was a great episode....if amy sherman didnt like phillip van dyke as a young christopher, dont you think she wouldnt have picked him?

I love this episode.Mainly because of the flashbacks,they were really cool!Emily would have had a cow if right there she figured out why Lorelai's 'coming out' dress didn't fit.

I thought this episode was pretty good, but not my favorite. I guess the young actors
got on my nerves a little.

I loved this episode. They should show more flashbacks. But the actors who play the young Lorelai and Christopher really werent very good actors.Young Christopher looked nothing like Christopher. I love the flashbacks though.

oh my gosh,

I really loved this epsoide I thought it was really well done.  Although I do have to agree that the young christopher does'nt look much like the older christopher but I did'nt think there acting was that bad and the young lorelai captured the personality of lorelai really well.  Its also a tear jerker though with lorelai realising how happy christopher is with sherry

i really want to see this episode it sounds so good with the flashbacks because it really gives you a view into the characters history
