Here you can talk about movies...
I've only watched Bollywood movies in the last week, because there are like 2 or 3 new ones every month here on TV.

I've got to pimp Serenity. Amazing movie, really. Even if you don't typically get into sci-fi...I don't either, but it was so, so amazing. So completely Joss Whedon, but...perfect. Ah. It's one of those movies where you can be laughing one minute, and shocked near tears the next. (Seriously, true story. Heh.)

Oh, yes. I'm all for sequel babies.
Plus? If for nothing else, go for the horny!Kaylee, which is freaking hilarious. Or go for Nathan Fillion (Mal) or Sean Maher (Simon), cause they're both gorgeous.

Wash! "I bet you wish we woulda brought the grenades now!" *laughs* Jayne can get on my nerves, but it wouldn't be the same without him. And that Mal line? That had me cracking up.

Wash! I know, what the heck is up with that? That was too much, especially after Book! That's when I want to go smack the writer's upside the back of their heads. I absolutely LOVED Serenity!!! The beginning was a bit rusty as far as Nathan slipping in and out of his western slang, but once the movie started going, it completely rocked. It was better than Star Wars, which has progressively gotten stuffy. "You mean like..sex? Oh hell, I'm living!" I loved that part too!!! It's about time...I almost died laughing when she started talking about batteries and was it Mal's response to that? The best part of the movie was River kicking much a$$. She and Jayne are my heros. I really need to go see it again. There was so much happening on the screen I really couldn't take it all in at once.

Wash, and Book...wah. I just think it's amazing how many different emotions you get out of that movie.
Morada, I definitly reccomend going to see it again. The first time through, you've got the element of surprise, which is great, but the second time...you pick up on a lot more. (I actually missed the grenades lines the first time!) And it all sinks in a bit more, I think...It was less "holy crap. what the...holy crap." the second time, lol.
Hee. "I swallowed a bug."

*hugs River* Yeah, well.. when I saw it the first (and so far, only) time, I hadn't watched any 'Firefly' before it. And, I could still follow it, but I didn't have as much emotion to it. I think that once I see it again, with Wash & such, I'll probably cry. Wait, Book? Shepard? The only thing I was mad at Joss about, was, Leigh posted something on her LJ about how Mal was supposed to be fully naked. And it got cut. I mean, come on now. Joss!

My favourite movies are Shawshank Redemption (the BEST movie in the world), Legally Blonde, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Hot Chic (not necessarily the whole movie, only the parts I peed myself laughing- like the pillow fight, funniest thing EVER!)

My friends/coworkers and I are still quoting Napoleon Dynamite. When my brother and sisters are together we reference it constantly. When our parents voice their confusion we remind them that if they don't get what we're talking about, there's a 98% chance it's ND It's pretty thweeeet. nikki
