To Ireland you mean? No, I haven't, I hate traveling. :Smiley I stay away from it if I can. I don't have an Irish accent because of my German. In fact, I can do an English accent Wink

haha cool.
I've never been to Ireland either.  bUt my grandpa is going soon--on a tour thing with Danny Quinn.  My dad and his some of his brothers and sisters have been there though.  I want to go eventually, but first I have to move out because ever since I was born my dad has been anti-planes.

ooh, lol.  I  guess at least its normal for you.  unlike harvestmoon52 moving there from texas where it doesn't rain close to as much, lol.

but i'm glad you had a good summer there.  I guess you get to spend more time outside when its not constantly raining?

For the true Irish out there, I have a question. A friend of mine was looking up Celtic baby  names that started with D - for her baby on the way -- and she found this name ...Daere ...  How would you guys pronounce that?  Any ideas?

Hey! I'm Irish too... but I live in America. The original form of my last name (McAvoy) is McEvoy. I've always wanted to visit over there.

hiya everyone

anyone from ireland still on here?

hehe who asked about the daere name again??

we spell it daire here or darragh or even dara

it means

daire "fruitful, fertile." The Brown Bull of Cooley  was owned by Daire Mac Fiachna, and his refusal to sell his bull to Queen Maebh was part of the reason for the fight between the provinces of Ulster and Connacht.
At present it is a very popular name in Ireland with all four spellings and it is often used as a girl's name with the spellings Daire and Dara.
