I know why they were mad, but I don't agree with it.  Lorelai paid it back in a gracious manner, didn't say, "Catch ya later, suckas, I'm free!"  She did her best to reassure Emily that she wouldn't disappear from their lives, it just wouldn't be by appointment.  Which, I would rather have then say that if I couldn't have my daughter through a business arrangement, I didn't want to see her at all.

I liked how Luke came over to repair things at Lorelai's house.

Yeah, Lorelai didn't go "Yay, No more Friday night dinners!!!" She said she would still come not every week but would still come. I can understand why Emily was upset but I think she way overreacted!

^Sig made by the awesome lukesgirl!^

i loved this eppie wehn i first saw it, but then i saw it so many times i swear i could say it word for word.
I loved the whole "BUt jackson i got the sugar free red bull like you asked me to!" thing.
The way Lorelai presented her parents with teh money was very nice and thankful. THey totally overreacted.

I thought that Loerlai's birthday was really sweet.  I also like the Jess part.  He looked it up!  So cute.

JESS: So, it’s been a couple days since you made the big decision. You still going to Yale?
RORY: Yes, I am. It’s got all the classes I want and some really great teachers, and plus, you know, as an added bonus, it’s really close to here.
JESS: 22.8 miles.
RORY: How’d you know that?
JESS: Do you Yahoo?
RORY: You looked it up?
JESS: Yeah.
RORY: You looked it up.
JESS: I just hit a couple buttons on the computer.
RORY: You looked it up.
JESS: I was bored. There was nothing on TV and I was fooling around, it was something to do, that’s it.
RORY: You looked it up.

what disc is this episode on, on the DVD of season three? please reply if you have the answer. I think i am getting season 3  for christmas all i need is seasons 3 and 5 and i will have all the seasons out on DVD.

It tells you when you get the dvds.  The booklet will say which disc every episode is on.
disc 5! and your lucky to have all the dvds!

I love the part where it goes

Rory: [anwsers phone] Hello?
Pete: Rorino, good.

LOL Rorino =] and he says problamo too =]
I love pete. Pete rocks.

AND KIRKS CHEESE BURNS!! LOL. Poor kirk. He has no luck.

I also like the Jess' 22.8 miles thing. 'Tis cute.

AND the bit where rory and jackson are talking. And rorys like wheeling all those drinks that clearly weigh more than she does. And she has to keep turning cuzz' jackson wont stand still. And the bit where he goes "Did you call? Did I miss it? Was I out?" [somthing like that] when he is talking about the veggies on the "worlds largest...conneticuts largest...bigger than woodberry's" pizza. Soo funny =]

Alright, I like this episode, but I have one question: Where the heck did Rory get all that money for the party?  I mean, the pizza must've been like $100 minimal and then the cake seemed huge as well and all the sodas and favors?  I know it's a small town, but I don't think that Rory would get all that stuff for free.  Rory doesn't work either, so where did she get the money?  It's like the wedding party Lorelai had in season two...she seems to be the one everyone in Stars Hollow fawns over, but everyone else just has normal parties.

But I LOVE the 22.8 miles thing.  It's one of my favorite parts.

Notice: Look at this line:
Lane: Well, apparently, the world’s largest pizza was 122 feet, 8 inches.

I know that might've been the actual record, I just think it's funny that if you take off the one it's 22.8

There is something very interesting about this episdoe. Lorelai's birthday cake actually reads "happy 16th birthday", she is apparently celebrating her birthday from the day she left her parent's house. that is sooo funny and a bit sad.

I don't blame Emily for getting emotional and i also don't blame Lorelai for doing what she had to do. Emily and Lorelai are very proud and i think that what makes everything seem harder than what it really is. When Lorelai moved out, Emily was devestated. Lorelai did cut them out of her life for many years. And in this episode Emily is not only looking at the possiblity of losing Lorelai but also Rory. Of course Emily is not the kind of person who would let her feelings out in the open and say that she actually needs them in her life. Emily doesn't want Lorelai to visit her as a favor because she is too proud. Like Emily, I did not believe Lorelai when she said that she would visit, she only visited her parents because she had to at that point.
