1  Episode Discussion / Season 7 / Re: 7.22 - Bon Voyage on: May 15, 2007, 07:57:15 pm
First time to post. Thanks for the site. (Great Job)

Anyway....I've gotta' say "WHAT A PILE OF CRAP" tonight's episode was.

Sure, I was extremely happy to see all my favorite towns people again, and L&L together, but overall....not the SATISFYING ENDING we were promised. Not at all.

This entire season lacked all the charm of Miss Patty, Babbet, Kirk & LuLu (WHY DIDN'T WE GET A KIRK & LULU WEDDING?Huh)

Everything went into the toilet once AMY Sherman-Palladino left. There was so much they could have done with Lor & Christopher's relationship. That quickie marraige/divorce thing was rushed and poorly written.

All the begging and pleading won't make that DAWN lady at CW give them all the money they want. All the letters won't bring the show back. It's done. And, Man do I feel cheated.

OH..AND THAT PATHETIC "THANKS FOR BEING PART OF OUR FAMILY, GILMORE GIRLS" 10 second outro was so PATRONIZING and lacked ANY REAL Thanks at all. If I worked on the show, I would have given my television the big fat finger.

Sorry, I'm angry. Truly Great Shows don't come around anymore. They're replaced after 3 weeks by more reality crapola.

I also don't like the network's SPIN on the whole thing....blaming the STARS for not returning. THE STARS don't want to come back because the CREATOR has left and the writers DON'T KNOW how to continue the flow of Gilmore Girls.

Anyway..Thanks for the site. A place for me to Vent. I guess I had better get over my disappointment now. Nothing left to do.

Nicely Put!

Did I emphasize how much this episode disgusted me?

This was the worst season finale I have seen in my life. It doesnt end ANYTHING, it leaves WAY too much stuff open ended. What happens with Rory? What happens to Luke & Lorelia? And I am sooooo sure that Logan is just TOTALLY gone. Urggghhh I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

This was the WORST EPISODE EVER! Are you freaking kidding me? I am so sure that Rory spends 3 years with a guy and then says no to his marriage proposal. I am sooo mad at Rory. Oh wait no, I am EXTREMELY pissed off at the writers for being such idiots. And the Lorelai and Luke situation? I mean HELLO LUKE give her the darn necklace.

Wow, I am officially disgusted.

I loved watching Gilmore Girls, but would only catch re-runs and such. My sister actually bought the full season 5 & 6 and got me absolutely HOOKED. This was just a week ago I finished season 6 so I never started watching season 7 on the CW. I am now in such regret, lol. HOWEVER, due to the wonderful world of technology I have a place to watch the "missed" episodes. If anyone needs to see these missed episodes, send me an email and I can let you know how I get to see them.

Now to my season comments... I love Luke, but I love Christopher more, so I was happy to see what happened in episode 1. Lorilei was getting dragged around too much by Luke (her holding the bumper analogy was great), and I think it was good she gave him the choice and he didnt choose to go elope (man was I SOOOOO angry when he said no, probably the main reason why I like Christopher more now, lol.) so him making that choice was his own problem.
